TROBBU opens all-inclusive retreat in Mexico

🏖 TROBBU Boutique Collection launched TROBBU Tulum, a private villa retreat in Mexico's Tulum, offering 10 three-bedroom villas with infinity pools and butler service. The all-inclusive package includes meals, snacks, and themed dining nights. A spa, fitness center, coffee shop, and boutique are upcoming. To celebrate, a 25% discount is available through August, with starting rates at $574 per night for four guests. The all-inclusive rate is $150 per adult and $80 for kids 4-17, free for under fours.

Live! Casino & Hotel opens in Bossier City

🎰 Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana opened as the first land-based casino in the Shreveport-Bossier market with a $270 million investment. Expected to generate $35 million in gaming tax revenues for Bossier City and $168 million for the state in five years. The casino features over 47,000 square feet of gaming space, 1,000+ slot machines, 40+ table games, and a DraftKings Sportsbook. Amenities include a 549-room hotel, a 25,000-square-foot event center, and a 31-site RV park. The Cordish Companies' project has created over 1,550 jobs, including 750 construction and 800 permanent positions. The development is part of a national expansion with over $1 billion of construction near completion in the U.S.

Choice Hotels Expands in Atlanta with The Connally Hotel

Guests can join the Choice Privileges loyalty program, which boasts over 68 million members. The Ascend Hotel Collection includes more than 375 hotels and recently expanded with the 77-key Mayfair Hotel in New York City’s Theatre District in late 2023.

The boutique hotel in Celebration, near Orlando, features 115 rooms, 23 suites, and 65 rooms with lake views. The renovation includes a redesigned lobby, the Lakeside Kitchen & Bar, an expanded outdoor lounge, and enhanced event spaces totaling 7,500 square feet. The property, formerly known as Celebration Hotel, was renamed in November 2024 and is committed to community and sustainability initiatives. Guests can use Marriott Bonvoy® benefits when staying at the hotel.

Field & Stream to open first lodge in Bozeman, Mont.

🏕️ Field & Stream Lodge Co. is set to open its first hotel, Field & Stream Bozeman, in Bozeman, Mont. in May. Located a mile from downtown, the lodge offers proximity to Bridger Bowl, Big Sky Resort, Yellowstone National Park, and three rivers. It features 179 rooms, including Mountain Kings and Bunk Rooms, a 29,000-square-foot outdoor area, an indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, and 3,800 square feet of meeting space. The lodge aims to blend outdoor tradition with modern amenities.

Regent Hotels returns to Indonesia with resort in Canggu

🏖 Regent Hotels & Resorts expands with the Regent Bali Canggu in Indonesia, its first since IHG acquired the brand in 2018. The beachfront resort boasts 150 suites and villas, five dining venues, a spa, nine pools, and a Regent Club. Designed by WATG, featuring interiors by Hirsch Bedner Associates and gardens by John Pettigrew, it integrates Balinese elements into its luxury experience. The Regent Spa & Wellness, set to open later this year, will be the brand's first. The resort aims to provide personalized services and exclusive amenities. Regent plans to add 12 properties in five years, with future locations in Jeddah and Kuala Lumpur.

Union Square Hospitality reopens revolving restaurant The View in NYC

🔄 Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG) reopened The View, a revolving restaurant located on the 47th and 48th floors of the New York City Marriott Marquis, on a Wednesday. The restaurant, which originally opened in 1985 and closed five years ago, offers live music, skyline views, and has been renovated by Rockwell Group. Executive Chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley and Beverage Director Ricky Dolinsky updated the culinary and beverage programs. The bar completes a 360-degree rotation every 45 minutes, while the dining room spins once per hour. Located at 1535 Broadway, The View features a menu with classics like tuna carpaccio and seared duck breast, as well as exclusive cocktails in collaboration with Katz’s Delicatessen and Magnolia Bakery.

Garner brand expands in Southern Europe with its launch in Italy

🏡 In 2023, IHG launched its midscale conversion brand and entered Italy by transforming Pacini Group's Smooth Hotel Rome into Garner Hotel Rome Aurelia, which was completed in January 2025. The hotel offers 58 rooms and is located on Via Aurelia, west of Rome. IHG operates 30 hotels in Italy across seven brands, with 10 additional properties in development. Garner Hotels has signed 76 global properties in six months; 58 are in Europe, including over 50 in Germany, a 53-room hotel in Reading, UK, and a 106-room hotel in Vienna, Austria. A 126-room Garner hotel near Istanbul's international airport is set for 2025. 🏨

Cycas Hospitality enters Portugal under the banner of Autograph Collection

🏡 Cycas Hospitality is set to manage a hotel in Sintra, Portugal, marking its entry into the Iberian Peninsula. The hotel, part of Marriott International's Autograph Collection, is scheduled to open in summer 2026. Cycas now manages 55 hotels across 13 European countries. The Sintra property will feature 89 rooms, accommodating 260 guests and including a honeymoon suite with a sea view. The project, a joint venture between Patron Capital and Quest Capital, respects the site's heritage, once a holiday complex for Companhia União Fabril (CUF) employees, and integrates designs by architect António Lino. Facilities will include wellness spaces, multiple dining options, and event hosting capabilities. The Autograph Collection boasts over 290 properties globally. Patron Capital has invested in Portugal since 2015 and plans to continue with its real estate fund, Fund VII.
