💸 Scott Ness is retiring as Senior VP of Accounting from Concord Hospitality on February 13 after a 23-year tenure. He joined in July 2003 and helped relocate the headquarters to Raleigh, NC. Previously, he had a 20-year career at Marriott International. Concord Hospitality, operating across the U.S. and Canada, partners with Hilton, Marriott, and Hyatt. In 2019, it launched Opus Collection, a lifestyle hotel management division. Concord is renowned for its innovative processes and community commitment.

📈 David Flueck, a 22-year veteran at Marriott International, will retire from his role as global officer, loyalty, cards & new businesses at the end of March 2025 in Bethesda, Maryland. Flueck significantly contributed to Marriott Bonvoy’s growth, expanding its partnerships and experiences. Marriott is searching for his successor to maintain the momentum and growth of the loyalty platform.

🏨 IHG Hotels and Resorts plans to open Voco Lucknow, a 135-key hotel in Ashiyana near Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, by late 2029. The hotel will be the third IHG property in Lucknow, India. Currently, IHG operates 51 hotels across six brands in India and aims to increase its presence to 400 hotels by 2031. Her 18-year UK hospitality career includes roles at Leeds, Harrogate, and Oulton Hall. Aleks will manage Swinton Park Hotel, Swinton Country Club, and holiday cottages.
