Press release – source: Access Hospitality (Abode Worldwide)
London, 5 November 2026 – Access Hospitality (through CPL Learning) is offering its ‘Dealing with Sexual Harassment in Hospitality’ online course free until 4 December 2026, helping operators respond to stronger workplace harassment protections introduced on 30 October under the Employment Rights Act 2025.
Employers must now take ‘all reasonable steps’ to prevent sexual harassment of their employees and can be held liable for harassment by third parties, including customers, if they have not taken the required preventative measures — particularly relevant in hospitality, where staff regularly interact with guests.
“Everyone working in hospitality should feel safe and respected, whether they’re dealing with colleagues, customers or suppliers. The latest changes to employment law strengthen businesses’ responsibility to identify and prevent harassment.” Martin Verdon-Roe, General Manager, Food & Beverage, Access Hospitality
The course is open to existing Access customers and new users. Completing training alone does not establish compliance: employers must also put preventative measures into practice.
Access the free course at cpllearning.com with promo code FREE30.
