🏨 Patrick Short has been appointed as president & COO of TPG Hotels & Resorts. He will lead operations at the national headquarters in McKinney, TX. With 30+ years in hospitality, Short previously expanded Peachtree Hospitality from 27 to 100 hotels. He has experience with over 25 brands and held roles at Kinseth and CSM Corporation. Robert Leven of Procaccianti Companies praised Short's leadership as TPG plans further expansion.

Raffles London at The OWO appoints managing director

Thomas, with over 30 years of luxury hotel experience across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and North Africa, previously led Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo and Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi. Located in Whitehall's historic Old War Office, Raffles London features 120 rooms, five restaurants, two bars, a 678 sqm ballroom, a 2,510 sqm spa, and 85 OWO Residences.

JP Hospitality launches hotel brand under old-school airline name

📍 JP Hospitality launched the PAN AM HOTEL brand on October 7, 2025, at Expo Real in Munich. The brand, inspired by the defunct airline, focuses on airport hotels with mid-century modern design and 24/7 services. CEO Gebhard Schachermayer emphasized quality without high prices. The first hotels will open at European airports in 2028. The launch included events on October 8, 2025, at Hotel Bayerischer Hof. PAN AM HOTEL aims to fill a market gap in airport hospitality.

Rocco Forte taps new GMs and managing director for The Carlton Milan

Anna Gricini becomes General Manager of Hotel de la Ville, Rome, while Maximilian Von Reden takes over as General Manager of Hotel Amigo, Brussels. Matteo Gentile will lead Hotel Savoy, Florence starting November 3. Ulrich Schwer is now at The Charles Hotel, Munich. Francesco Roccato, Managing Director of Northern Italy, will also oversee The Carlton Milan, opening on November 6, 2025.

Peachtree Group sets record with $2.5B in private credit deals

💵 Peachtree Group, through September 2025, completed over $2 billion in private credit transactions across 77 deals, aiming for $2.5 billion by year-end. In 2024, they deployed $1.6 billion—a 54% increase from 2023. Notable deals include: $176.5 million for Rio Hotel & Casino (Las Vegas) and $68.2 million for AC Hotel (Seattle). With $3 trillion in U.S. commercial real estate debt maturing by 2028, private credit demand continues to rise.

Germany’s H World opens Zleep Hotel in Hamburg

🏨 Zleep Hotel Hamburg Volkspark opened near Hamburg’s Volksparkstadion and Barclays Arena. With 204 rooms and digital check-in, it emphasizes Danish design. Steigenberger Hotels GmbH's CEO, Dr. Stephan Hungeling, highlights its expansion in Hamburg with seven hotels. The hotel offers parking, bicycle spaces, a lounge, and a snack bar. Eidelstedt S-Bahn station is a 10-minute walk, and the A7 motorway is 3 minutes by car. This is the second Zleep hotel in Germany after Frankfurt-Kelsterbach, with more locations planned.

Nobu Hospitality announces new hotel and restaurant in Nashville
