📅 Yasmin Boromand was appointed as the new group director of people and culture for Iconic Hotels and Resorts on June 8, 2026. This follows the company's rebranding in February and the hiring of Shan Kanagasingham as COO. Boromand has experience managing HR for 80 restaurants in 18 countries and overseeing nine hotels in the Dorchester Collection. The group plans to launch a learning academy and graduate program, managing 14 properties, including 10 in the UK.

🌐 Ilana Edelman has been appointed VP of Development for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Atelier Ace. Based in London, she will lead the brand's growth and investments, reporting to CEO Chris Penn. Edelman, with 15 years in hospitality, including past roles at Google and Hyatt, aims to expand in Europe. Atelier Ace's parent, Seibu Prince Hotels Worldwide, targets 250 hotels globally by 2035, focusing on locations like London to achieve this growth.

🏨 RBH Hospitality Management secured a contract to manage the Radisson Hotel Liverpool, marking its fourth property in the city. Situated in central Liverpool, the recently refurbished hotel features 194 rooms, a bar, restaurant, and event spaces. This first partnership with Radisson expands RBH’s portfolio, which includes IHG, Marriott, Hilton, Accor, and Wyndham. Chief executive David Hart sees this as a significant milestone, while Allan Davidson of Stonemoss Hospitality sees it as a confidence boost for Liverpool’s hospitality scene.

🏨 Jeremy Pardey, with 38 years in leisure and hospitality, becomes General Manager at Solent Hotel and Spa, Fareham. He oversees 171 rooms, a business center, FYR Grill, and a spa. Pardey led a £100m investment at Butlin’s. Solent Hotel recently renovated its pool hall after a six-figure investment. Thwaites plans a £1.2m bedroom upgrade at the hotel.
