🏨 Langham Hospitality Group appointed Nils-Arne Schroeder as chief operating officer. Schroeder will oversee operations for over 30 hotels, with 20+ properties in development, including Thailand and China this year, Italy and Malaysia in 2027, and Saudi Arabia in 2028. Schroeder brings 30 years of experience, having worked with Raffles, Fairmont, and Hilton. LHG’s CEO highlighted Schroeder’s ability to meet market needs while maintaining brand identity. 📑 Matt Sommers is the new general manager at Le Méridien Washington, D.C., The Madison. With 20 years of experience, Sommers previously managed YOTEL Washington D.C., Westin D.C. City Center, and Capitol Hill Hotel. The hotel, managed by HEI Hotels & Resorts, features 356 guestrooms, including 27 suites. Located downtown, it offers views of the Washington Monument and Jefferson Memorial. Sommers aims to blend legacy with innovation, enhancing its status as a premier hospitality destination.

🏨 Hyatt Hotels Corp. has appointed Eduardo Schutte as SVP, Commercial, for the Inclusive Collection. Schutte, with 30+ years in hospitality, will oversee commercial strategy across 150+ resorts and nearly 58,000 rooms in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe. Reporting to Javier Águila and working with Mark Vondrasek, he aims to enhance commercial performance. Recent openings include resorts in St. Lucia and Aruba, with future expansions planned by the end of 2026 in Punta Cana and Los Cabos.

📈 Prashanth Radhakrishnan appointed EVP of commercial strategy at TPG Hotels & Resorts, leveraging 25+ years of global experience. Previously, he was global VP at Marriott International, leading commercial strategy for 900+ hotels across 22 countries. TPG operates from Dallas, with over 650 hotels and marinas, totaling 68,000+ guestrooms across 42 states. His role focuses on integrating revenue management, sales, and digital commerce to enhance performance and value creation.

🏝️ Simon Winchester has been appointed as the resort manager of Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort. Since joining in 2020, he managed six dining venues and culinary programs. Winchester previously worked at Six Senses Kaplankaya in Turkey and Mondrian Doha. He aims to enhance guest experiences that reflect the spirit of Saint Lucia.

🏨 Hayes Mansion, Curio Collection by Hilton in San Jose, appoints Isabelle Matter as new general manager. Matter, with over 20 years of experience in luxury and lifestyle hotels, previously managed The Clift Royal Sonesta in San Francisco. From 2019 to 2023, she launched Hotel Caza as inaugural GM. Matter's past roles include GM positions at YOTEL SF, Hotel De Anza, and Joie de Vivre properties. Her expertise in Bay Area hospitality operations makes her an ideal fit.

🏝️ Tracy Stoltz is appointed as the managing director of Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort in Hawaii. Stoltz transitions from The Hythe in Vail, Colorado, where she was the general manager. Her extensive career includes leadership roles in Marriott International and Starwood Hotels, and a $240 million project at Grand Isle Resort, Bahamas. Jillian Katcher, VP of Rosewood Hotel Group, commends Stoltz’s experience for enhancing guest experiences at Kona Village.

📈 Corinthia Hotels has appointed Peter Roth as President of Hotel Operations. Roth, based in London, will manage operations for Corinthia's current hotels and upcoming openings in Italy, Doha, Riyadh, Dubai, the Maldives, and Chengdu. He reports to Simon Naudi, CEO. With over 30 years of luxury hospitality experience, Roth previously worked at Jumeirah and spent 15 years with Hyatt. This role focuses on service standards and profitability.
