🏨 Radisson Hotel Group announced 210+ hotel signings and openings in 2025 across EMEA and APAC. In Europe, new properties will open in Manchester and London, with Radisson Blu expanding in Paris, France, Germany, Türkiye, and Montenegro. In China, 130 hotels have opened this year. Radisson surpassed 200 hotels in India. Radisson Red expanded in Oslo, UAE, India, and Thailand, focusing on sustainability with the second Verified Net Zero hotel in Oslo.

📍 Kirklees Council approved plans on October 2023 to redevelop Huddersfield’s George Hotel. Rooms will increase from 91 to 108, preserving its architectural heritage. The Grade II-listed hotel will include a bar, restaurant, gym, and conference facilities, operated by Radisson Red. This is part of Huddersfield's town centre regeneration, alongside The Light at Kingsgate and Our Cultural Heart projects. Councillor Graham Turner highlighted its impact on the local economy and visitor attraction.

✈ Shangri-La Group has opened Shangri-La Hongqiao Airport and Traders Hongqiao Airport at Shanghai's Hongqiao transportation hub, coinciding with the 8th China International Import Expo. The dual-branded development offers 91 rooms at Shangri-La and 520 at Traders, both connected to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and the high-speed rail. Traders features quick check-in/out and smart tech like luggage robots. Nearly 3,000 sqm of event space is available, reflecting a "luxury + efficiency" strategy.

🎧 Caledonian Edinburgh reopened its Caley Bar on Princes Street on 1 November after a refurbishment by Cunningham McLean. The renovation, inspired by Japan's jazz kissa, includes vinyl turntables and new seating. The bar offers a new cocktail menu with local ingredients, including the Birch drink, and small dishes. Owner Henderson Park and operator Klarent Hospitality led the investment. This relaunch is part of the hotel's ongoing updates while maintaining its distinguished reputation.

🏨 Hyatt Hotels Corporation will open the Andaz Hiroshima in 2027 through a management agreement with Takenaka Corporation. Located in central Hiroshima, the hotel will occupy the 21st to 31st floors of a high-rise building. It will feature 235 guest rooms and suites, restaurants, a rooftop bar, a fitness center with an indoor pool, and event spaces. This will be the second Andaz hotel in Japan, following the Tokyo location.

🏨 Radisson Hotel Group, by 2025, achieved over 210 hotel signings and openings, showcasing robust international growth. The expansion is focused across EMEA, through a diverse brand portfolio spanning all market segments.

🏨 Hilton's Conrad Corfu, opening before summer 2026, will offer 136 rooms and a 200-meter beachfront in southern Corfu. Facilities include three restaurants, two bars, a wellness center, and a kids club. The property features a villa with a custom outdoor terrace by Sophie Deloudi. Managed by Numo Hotels and Resorts, this is their third collaboration with Hilton. Corfu International Airport, receiving over 4 million travelers annually, provides access to the hotel.

🏨 Sonesta International Hotels Corporation has expanded its portfolio by adding 18 hotels through a partnership with Laxmi Hotels Group. By the end of September, all properties transitioned to the Sonesta Select brand. This is part of Sonesta's strategy announced in 2024 to sell 113 managed hotels, adding 14,803 rooms across 28 states. The 18 new hotels are located in Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Tennessee, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

🏠 Fashion house Maison Margiela is launching Maison Margiela Residences in Dubai's Palm Jumeirah in partnership with Alta Real Estate Development. Launching with 25 bespoke units, the design by architect Carlo Colombo features travertine furnishings and a custom furniture line. Residents can access amenities like an art gallery, spa, and gym. This launch coincides with a new boutique and a café at the Mall of the Emirates.
