🏨 Peachtree Group opened the Home2 Suites by Hilton Ashburn in the D.C. metro area, a 122-room hotel and their seventh 2023 property. Located near One Loudoun and under 10 miles from Dulles International Airport, it features in-room kitchens, social spaces, and a fitness center. Ashburn, known as "Data Center Alley," benefits from tech investments like Alphabet's $1 billion Google data center expansion. Peachtree manages 112 hotels across 30 brands.

🏨 Courtyard by Marriott opened a 150-bedroom hotel in Sheffield at the Advanced Manufacturing Park, owned by Stapleford Ventures and operated by RBH Hospitality Management. It’s RBH’s first Sheffield property, featuring a restaurant, bar, meeting spaces, and a fitness center. David Hart, RBH CEO, emphasized strengthening ties with Marriott. Notable facilities are managed by Filipe Chaby-Rodrigues. Recent Marriott news includes property sales and openings in London and Cape Town, with dates in December 2025.

🏠 Watkin Jones partners with Latium Enterprises to develop a 294-bedroom hotel in central Wimbledon on Worple Road. The project includes an 11-storey hotel with amenities like a gym and café, aiming for BREEAM Excellent certification. Construction is expected to be completed by summer 2028, generating around £40 million in revenue. This is the second collaboration between the two, following a January 2025 project in London.

🏨 Dominus and Cheyne Capital acquire Ibex House in City of London for a 382-bedroom hotel conversion. The Art Deco building, vacant since its office use, will target BREEAM Excellent standards. The project includes a public café, refurbished Peacock pub, and a hospitality academy with The Springboard Charity. Dominus, focusing on repurposing offices, also acquired 5–10 Great Tower Street and 123 Judd Street for hotel developments. Across the UK, they have 3,800 student beds and 1,700 hotel rooms in progress.

🏨 Timbre Hotels, a boutique hospitality brand, operates three properties in Porto, Portugal, offering 248 accommodation units. The flagship is Timbre Virtudes, a five-star hotel with 71 rooms in a 16th-century building. Timbre Heroísmo, a four-star hotel with 153 rooms, caters to business travelers. Timbre Boavista features 24 serviced apartments. The brand emphasizes heritage design and wellness, with offerings like guided walks, mindfulness sessions, and personal training. 🛌 Drury Hotels opened the Drury Plaza Hotel Lincoln Downtown, its first in Nebraska. Located at 920 Q Street, Lincoln, it features 210 guest rooms, over 2,400 sq ft of meeting space, and employs 55 staff. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, 24-hour business and fitness centers, an indoor pool, and diverse dining options. The hotel is near the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and other attractions. 🏨 The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) announced its debut in Egypt by signing a deal for a new Taj hotel in Cairo. Situated in Opera Square, the 300-key Taj Cairo will offer views of Azbakeya Garden. The hotel will blend historic architecture with modern amenities and provide all-day dining, specialty restaurants, and wellness facilities. This venture places Taj in a city famed for attractions like the Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum.

🏨 The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa marks Marriott International's 200th property in India, located in Jaipur's scenic Aravali range. Spread across nine acres, the resort offers 135 rooms, suites, and villas, each with private gardens and plunge pools. Facilities include a 24-hour fitness studio, Heavenly Spa, four dining venues, and extensive event spaces. Marriott's presence in India now spans 200 properties across 18 brands, with a pipeline of 150 more hotels.
