🏨 In New York, voco The Franklin, part of IHG, unveiled renovations in August 2026. Its 49 guestrooms and public spaces were updated with vintage New York aesthetics. Designed by Glen & Co Architecture, the hotel features midnight-blue walls, bespoke furnishings, and crystal chandeliers. The lobby includes emerald-green walls and tufted leather sofas. General Manager Tobore Okagbare emphasized preserving the property's history while offering elevated comforts and a unique, neighborhood-connected guest experience.

🏨 Remington Hospitality added the Hyatt Regency Buffalo Hotel and Conference Center to its third-party management portfolio in Dallas, Texas. Located in downtown Buffalo, the 396-room hotel will soon undergo renovations to guest rooms, corridors, and meeting spaces. The hotel features on-site dining, a fitness center, an indoor pool, and ten meeting spaces exceeding 20,000 square feet, with direct access to the Buffalo Convention Center. CEO Ben Perelmuter emphasized the hotel's strategic downtown location and meeting capabilities.

🏨 Luxury hotel Matfen Hall, a Grade II listed mansion, completes a £50 million, six-year transformation, becoming Northumberland’s only five-star hotel. By September, the Retreat Spa will double its size, featuring an 18-meter pool, saunas, steam room, and cryotherapy chambers. The hotel now has 63 rooms, including 10 new ones. It boasts Northumberland’s only AA 3-Rosette restaurant and new golf facilities, including The Douglas 18-hole course and a driving range with Toptracer technology. 🍹 Saikindō, at Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi on Al Maryah Island, is a bar inspired by 1980s Japan. Designed by AvroKO, it merges Japan's 1960s Metabolism movement with Bōsōzoku biker culture. The Aji No Hibiki drink menu features 12 song-inspired cocktails created by Marco Corallo and Ann Pinsuda. Chef Slamet Wahyudi offers dishes like A5 wagyu tartare and Kobe sirloin. The venue includes a private Kūkan room and an 18-seat Robata Room.

🏗️ Wyld Oaks, a 215-acre mixed-use project in Apopka, Florida, began in 2024 and is set to complete by summer 2028. It will feature two hotels, a full-service emergency room, 300,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 4,000 residential units, and Wyld Green, an outdoor entertainment venue. COO Taylor Edwards noted the hotels cater to business, medical travelers, and lifestyle enthusiasts, enhancing the area's demand. The project aims to boost weekday hotel occupancy by integrating varied attractions.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts and Harilela Group, a Hong Kong-based company, signed a deal to add three Hari Hotels (85-room The Hari London, 210-room The Hari Hong Kong, and 324-room The Hari Singapore) to IHG's Vignette Collection. This expands their partnership to six hotels across Asia and Europe. Vignette Collection now boasts over 80 hotels, aiming for 100 in its first decade. The Hari Hotels offer luxury experiences with unique charm.

🏨 Phoenix, Arizona — Plans are underway to transform a 19-story office tower at Arizona Center into a 340-room JW Marriott hotel. This adaptive reuse project will feature a resort-style pool, 15,000 sq ft of meeting space, and proximity to the Phoenix Convention Center, which generated over 351,000 room nights and $454 million in visitor spending in 2025. The development addresses a gap in luxury hospitality in Phoenix, the fifth-largest U.S. city.

📍 IHG Hotels and Resorts has signed a three-hotel agreement with Harilela Group to integrate The Hari London into its Vignette Collection, expanding the brand to Singapore, London, and Hong Kong. This collaboration, evolving over 50 years, now encompasses six hotels. Vignette Collection aims to exceed 100 properties globally within its first decade, with more than 80 open or in the pipeline. The deal enhances IHG's luxury and lifestyle portfolio and supports The Hari's international expansion.
