🏠 Generator acquired Novotel London Greenwich and signed a hotel management deal to transform a Paris office into Generator Paris Place d'Italie. The London property will transition in January 2027, with renovations starting in spring. Generator aims to double its global portfolio by 2031, focusing on key markets like London and Paris. The Paris project, close to metro stations and tourist attractions, will feature a mix of private and shared rooms with over 300 sq m of social spaces.

🏨 Hyatt Hotels Corporation is expanding its brand portfolio, highlighting opportunities in over 300 U.S. submarkets. With 70 hotels and 8,200 rooms in the Hyatt Studios pipeline, the company offers financing solutions with HALL Structured Finance to aid new-build projects. The Gen 4 Hyatt Place prototype aims to cut construction costs by 25% through design changes. Upcoming openings include Hotel Madeira in Florida (November 2026) and Hyatt Select Salt Lake City Airport (March 2027), contributing to a global pipeline of 154,000 rooms.

🏨 Aimbridge Hospitality has expanded its partnership with Portman to manage The Westin Cincinnati and the forthcoming 700-key Cincinnati Downtown Marriott. The Westin, acquired by Portman in 2025, will undergo renovations next year, while the Marriott, part of the $828 million Convention District project, broke ground on July 21, 2026. It will feature 60,000 square feet of meeting space and a 17,000-square-foot events terrace, backed by $540 million in financing, with Aimbridge as an equity partner and operator.

📍 Hilton and Kalyani Group announced the signing of two hotels in Bengaluru, set to open in 2030. Located in the KIADB Hi-Tech Defence and Aerospace Park, the Conrad Bengaluru Airport and Hilton Bengaluru Airport will each feature 300 rooms. The complex will have over 72,000 square feet of event space, aimed at MICE events. The hotels will be 20 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport, enhancing access for business and leisure travelers.

📈 German investor Art-Invest Real Estate acquired the 414-room IntercityHotel Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof Süd from CA Immo. Meanwhile, Patrizia acquired the 186-room B&B Hotel Berlin Tiergarten from Art-Invest. Whitbread bought Future Inn hotels in Bristol and Plymouth, UK, to convert them to Premier Inns by December 2026. Cofinance Group bought the 35-room Les Plumes Hôtel in Paris for renovation. MNK Partners purchased two Travelodge hotels in Chippenham, UK, for €5.2 million, expanding their portfolio to 10 properties.

🏨 The Shinmonzen, a nine-suite hotel designed by Tadao Ando, opened in Kyoto's Gion area. The hotel, a four-story structure with a charcoal-black wooden exterior, features custom-made furniture and art by Damien Hirst. It offers 24-hour butler service, breakfast anytime, and bespoke experiences like Zen meditation. The hotel enjoyed a soft opening in December, with a grand opening planned for April. The restaurant, led by chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, uses ingredients from Kyoto's Ohara region.
