🏨 Mandarin Oriental will manage a hotel on a five-hectare island near Venice, offering views of the Venetian lagoon, until November 2025, followed by a three-phase renovation. The hotel, featuring 136 rooms, will reopen as Mandarin Oriental, Venice in April 2026. Amenities include a spa, outdoor pool, and tennis courts. This expansion complements existing properties in Milan and Lake Como, plus future openings in Rome, Cortina, and Porto Cervo. Renovation led by Albion Nord design studio.

📍 Hilton has partnered with Green Properties – Melakis S.A. to renovate the former Mediterranean Hotel in Heraklion, Greece, into the ÉRA Hotel Heraklion, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. This new hotel will feature 56 rooms and amenities such as a rooftop restaurant, pool, and spa. Set to open year-round, the hotel marks Hilton's second property in Crete following the December 2024 announcement of Hilton Garden Inn Chania City. Hilton expands its Tapestry Collection in Europe, focusing on Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

🏨 Located in Rome's Prati district, the NYX Hotel Rome occupies the former Hotel Cicerone site and underwent a €30 million redevelopment. The hotel features 324 rooms, modular conference rooms, and a modern Roman cuisine restaurant. It's the 11th NYX Hotel in Central Europe and 19th overall. Opening in May 2025, it emphasizes sustainability and art, with installations from local artists. This expansion aligns with Leonardo Hotels' strategy for vibrant urban destinations.

🏨 Aspire Group will take over the former Hotel Kaiserhof in Wuppertal, Germany, on 2 June 2025, rebranding it as Spark by Hilton Wuppertal City Centre. The hotel, near Wuppertal Hauptbahnhof, offers 172 rooms and a bar, located 35 km from Düsseldorf Airport. It will feature a 24/7 Grab & Go store and in-room steamers, targeting value-conscious travelers. Spark by Hilton is expanding in the EMEA region, including planned openings in Madrid and Türkiye.

🏠 Canada, 2025: Density Group Limited has announced the launch of The Ritz-Carlton Residences in Muskoka, featuring 32 waterfront homes on a private island. Homes range from four to eight bedrooms, with private showings starting this summer. Designed by Studio Caban and Norm Architects, amenities include a spa, sports facilities, and a homeowner club accessible by chauffeured boat. Onsite production includes fresh herbs, eggs, and honey. Sarah Khalifa of Marriott International supports the project.

🍳 Boxcar Bar & Grill in Marylebone relaunches as Boxcar Fire & Wine on June 17th, led by new Head Chef Zisis Gkalmpenis from Greece. The restaurant focuses on fire-led cooking with dishes like Iberico pork presa and Galician beef rib. The wine list features small-scale, sustainable producers, including their own-label rosé, Tinted Glasses. Managed by Ankur Wishart and Barry Hirst, Fire & Wine offers a warm setting with natural wood textures and an open kitchen. Open Tuesday to Sunday.

🏖️ June 4 marked the start of construction for a new 95-room B&B hotel in the Greater Paris area, near attractions like Disneyland Paris. Designed for sustainability with a green roof and photovoltaic energy, it supports eco-friendly tourism. The project is backed by IDF Tourisme & Territoires and partners including Crédit Agricole Brie Picardie, focusing on accessible and sustainable development. This initiative aligns with regional strategies for improved tourism infrastructure.

🏨 Nobu Hospitality, in collaboration with SAO Investments, is developing a luxury lifestyle destination in Krakow, Poland. The project includes 100 guest rooms, 80 Nobu Residences, and Nobu’s first cultural district. This "city within a city" will feature a theatre, cinema, recording studio, coworking space, art gallery, rooftop pool, fitness center, and a Nobu restaurant. Following Nobu Hotel Warsaw’s 2020 debut, this marks Nobu’s second Polish venture, aligning with their European expansion strategy.

🏖 Lough Erne Resort, set within 600 acres of Fermanagh Lakelands, invites visitors to savor summer through curated experiences designed for relaxation.
