🏨 Gran Hotel Mas d’en Bruno, Priorat’s first five-star hotel, won the Restorations, Transformations + Conversions category at the 21st Hospitality Design Awards, chosen from nearly 900 entries. Designed by Astet Studio and C97 Arquitectes I Associats, it features 24 suites with vineyard views. Opened in May 2023, the hotel is part of The Stein Group and Relais & Châteaux. Rates start at £360 per night.

Le Beauvallon to reopen ahead of COMO relaunch

🏖 Le Beauvallon will reopen in summer 2025 with 25 sea-facing suites, welcoming individual guests for the first time in nearly a decade. Located in France, overlooking the Bay of Saint-Tropez, the historic hotel is set for a full rebranding under COMO in 2026. The redevelopment includes a four-hectare garden, beach club, and new culinary offerings led by Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno. Originally opened in 1914, it has hosted private events in recent years.

Marriott expands in Portugal with Delta Hotels by Marriott Açores

By 2026, Marriott aims to add approximately 100 properties in Europe.

🏖 Europa Park in Germany, established in 1975, is Europe's second most visited park, drawing 6 million visitors in 2023. In 1995, it opened its first hotel, El Andaluz, with 192 rooms. By 1999, the park expanded with Hotel Castillo Alcazar adding 120 rooms. In 2003, Hotel Colosseo introduced 324 rooms, marking a shift to upscale accommodations. The Santa Isabel hotel, opened later, adopted a wellness focus, further elevating the park's hospitality offerings.

IHG expands Hotel Indigo presence in the UK

🏨 Hotel Indigo London Clerkenwell, opened by Keith Davies, is a 143-room hotel located at Clerkenwell Road, five minutes from Farringdon Station. It features the Wilderness Kitchen, Sabini Bar, and two meeting rooms for 60 guests. IHG plans further UK expansion, including a Hotel Indigo & Suites in Waterloo by 2028. The Hotel Indigo brand has over 50 hotels in Europe, with new locations in Romania and Spain. InterContinental Hotels Group offers 119 job openings in the UK.

The People expands to Lyon with 12th ho(s)tel in France

IHG opens Hotel Indigo London Clerkenwell

Part of IHG's brand since 2019, it’s a new milestone for the family business with a focus on guest experience.

American bistro Ella set to open in Dallas June 17
