Mandarin Oriental, Venice to launch in 2026

🏨 Mandarin Oriental will manage and rebrand San Clemente Palace Hotel in Venice as Mandarin Oriental, Venice by April 2026. Situated on a five-hectare private island, it's an eight-minute boat ride from San Marco Square. The hotel, housed in 900-year-old monastery buildings, includes a 12th-century church. Renovations, led by Albion Nord, will begin after its November 2025 closure, adding 136 rooms and amenities like a spa, pool, tennis and paddle courts, and four dining venues.

Hilton to launch Tapestry Collection hotel in Heraklion, Greece in 2026

📍 Hilton has partnered with Green Properties – Melakis S.A. to renovate the former Mediterranean Hotel in Heraklion, Greece, into the ÉRA Hotel Heraklion, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. This new hotel will feature 56 rooms and amenities such as a rooftop restaurant, pool, and spa. Set to open year-round, the hotel marks Hilton's second property in Crete following the December 2024 announcement of Hilton Garden Inn Chania City. Hilton expands its Tapestry Collection in Europe, focusing on Italy, Spain, and Portugal.

A Zleep hotel will open in Constance

💻 "The Reed," operated by H World International under the Zleep brand, will use sustainable wooden modular technology and aim for DGNB certification. Located near Wollmatingen train station, it offers excellent transport links. Investors can purchase hotel apartments starting at €195,500 with a 4% annual return, featuring a 20-year lease and two five-year extensions. Zleep's expansion includes recent openings in Frankfurt and future projects in Hamburg, Leipzig, and Göppingen. Construction in Konstanz is ongoing.

NYX Hotel Rome set for summer launch

The hotel, near Wuppertal Hauptbahnhof, offers 172 rooms and a bar, located 35 km from Düsseldorf Airport. It will feature a 24/7 Grab & Go store and in-room steamers, targeting value-conscious travelers. Spark by Hilton is expanding in the EMEA region, including planned openings in Madrid and Türkiye.

Hilton New York Fashion District unveils full renovation

The renovation was managed by Aimbridge Hospitality and designed by Gensler, overseen by Denise Pickles. The hotel is near the Fashion Institute of Technology, Penn Station, and Madison Square Garden.

Nobu Hospitality announces second project in Poland
