OKKO Hotels to open new 4-star property in Troyes in 2025

🌏 OKKO Hotels' fifteenth property, the OKKO Troyes Centre, will open on June 9, 2025, near the train station in Troyes' historical center. The four-star hotel will feature 106 rooms with high-end amenities like Cocomat bedding, Omnisens bath products, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Unique to OKKO Hotels, the 200 m² Club offers a shared space with lounge areas, coworking stations, and all-day snacks, accessible via day passes. The hotel's location allows guests to explore Troyes' medieval architecture and heritage. OKKO Hotels, a Société à Mission in France, plans to expand to 40 locations across France and Europe.

Idaho’s Coeur d’Alene Resort to expand with new tower

🏖 Hagadone Hospitality has started construction on the Sherman Tower, expanding The Coeur d’Alene Resort in Idaho by 139 rooms, totaling 477 rooms when complete. The project is expected to generate around 200 jobs, featuring lake-facing guestrooms, an expanded food-and-beverage program, and new common areas. The expansion includes a lobby lounge, rotating local art café, a full-service restaurant, and a rooftop bar with views of Lake Coeur d’Alene and the city skyline. The resort already has a spa, marina, golf course, and meeting space. Coeur d’Alene has seen increased tourism and corporate meetings, along with hospitality development.

IHG expands its presence in Greece with two new hotel signings in Crete

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts to open The Chania Hotel Crete, Vignette Collection in 2025 and Kimpton La Mer Crete in 2026. These debut luxury properties in Greece are in partnership with Gelasakis Group. The Chania Hotel features 39 rooms, rooftop bar, restaurant, wellness center, and pool. Kimpton La Mer offers 76 rooms, beach access, two restaurants, and a spa with an indoor pool. IHG's Greek presence includes five hotels, with two Six Senses resorts in development. Vignette Collection has 20 hotels open, 35 in the pipeline; Kimpton is renowned for boutique luxury. Both brands integrate with IHG's global network and IHG One Rewards program.

TOOR Hotel opens in downtown Toronto

🏨 Manga Hotel Group opened TOOR Hotel, its first upscale TOOR brand property, in downtown Toronto, Canada. Located in Toronto's Garden District, the hotel features 232 rooms, 181 residential units, 55” TVs, Nespresso machines, and smart lighting. Amenities include a fitness center, yoga studio, valet parking, event space, and the two-story Muse Bistro & Bar. TOOR Hotel is part of Manga’s portfolio of 33 hotels and more than 6,000 rooms. A second TOOR Hotel is set to open in New York City's Soho later in the year.

Hilton expands in Japan with Waldorf Astoria Osaka

🏦 Hilton introduced the Waldorf Astoria Osaka in Japan, a luxury 252-room hotel situated atop South Park Tower in the Umekita District. Offering rooms and suites on the 31st to 38th floors, the hotel features four F&B venues, a spa with Japanese-inspired treatments, an indoor pool, and 33,000 square feet of event space, including a chapel. Waldorf Astoria aims to more than double its Asia Pacific portfolio within two years, marking the brand's debut in Japan.

🏠 Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills launches as Rosewood Hotels & Resorts' first standalone residential offering in Los Angeles, California, developed by Nahla Capital and GPI Companies. The property has 17 residences, ranging from 3,000 to over 7,000 square feet, with pricing from $10 million to $45 million. Each residence features private elevators, floor-to-ceiling windows, kitchens with Greek marble, and state-of-the-art appliances from Sub-Zero and Wolf. Six homes include private pools and spas, and the four penthouses offer private rooftop retreats. Amenities include a 50-foot rooftop pool, jacuzzi, fitness center, lounge, bar, and dining room. The dedicated Rosewood Residential team manages the property, offering services like Residential Butler Service, Exclusive Pet Services, Rotating Art Program, Health & Wellness, Exclusive Dining & Events Access, Community Engagement, Private Delivery & Security, and the Rosewood Reserve membership program for global privileges. Sales are led by Compass Development Marketing Group, Sally Forster Jones of Compass, and Tomer Fridman of Christie’s International Real Estate SoCal.

🏠 A by Adina opened its first European property in Vienna, Austria, within the 180-meter Danubeflats, marking Adina Hotels' first expansion outside Australia after 15 years in Europe. The A by Adina Vienna Danube features 120 studios and apartments with kitchens and living spaces, plus amenities like a bar, cocktail lounge, restaurant, wellness area, gym, saunas, and a panoramic, heated infinity pool. Developed by S+B Gruppe, Soravia, and BWM Designers & Architects, the hotel aims to set new premium accommodation standards in Vienna.

Mandarin Oriental reopens resorts in Italy, Turkey and Greece

🏠 Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group reopens three seasonal resorts in Europe this April: Lago di Como (Italy), Bodrum (Turkey), and Costa Navarino (Greece). Lago di Como features CO.MO Bar & Bistrot redesign and L~ARIA restaurant, along with the largest floating outdoor pool on Lake Como. Bodrum offers private accommodations, the Blue Beach Club & Bar, Hakkasan restaurant, and a spa with sea views. Costa Navarino introduces two new villas with private pools and spa rooms, Greek cuisine at Oliviera, and activities including golf and cultural site visits. The group also plans to open Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca in 2026.

Orient Express opens hotel near the Pantheon

🏡 Orient Express launched its first hotel in Rome, Orient Express La Minerva, situated at Piazza della Minerva 69, near the Pantheon. Architect Hugo Toro redesigned the 17th-century palazzo, including 93 rooms and 36 suites. Partnered with Arsenale Group, this follows La Dolce Vita Orient Express and precedes Venice's Orient Express Palazzo Donà Giovannelli. The hotel boasts unique interior designs and custom furniture, with suites like the Stendhal Suite. Facilities include five venues, the largest being Olimpo Ballroom at 165 sqm. Coming soon are rooftop dining venue Gigi Rigolatto in May 2025 and Mimi Kakushi, a restaurant with Japanese-Western fusion, following a Dubai original named Best Bar in Middle East & Africa in 2024.

Drury Hotels opens hotel near Charleston, S.C., airport

🏨 Drury Hotels opened its new Drury Plaza Hotel North Charleston in North Charleston, S.C., featuring 252 guestrooms and suites, and more than 3,600 square feet of meeting space. Located less than 10 miles from downtown Charleston and Daniel Island, and three miles from Charleston International Airport. The hotel provides amenities like complimentary breakfast, evening snacks, Wi-Fi, parking, a pool, spa, 24-hour fitness center, and The Kitchen + Bar. It employs 70 people and offers a Meetings with More program for event planners. Drury Hotels now has over 150 hotels across 27 states.
