🏖️ Hilton, in partnership with Parks Hospitality Holdings, will open Conrad Los Cabos in Mexico by 2027. This resort will be located in the Baja California Sur region and will become Conrad's first property on the Baja California Peninsula, joining Hilton's eight existing properties in the area. It will feature 175 rooms and residences, including 111 guest rooms with private plunge pools. The resort will offer a 3,000-square-foot spa, fitness center, several pools, five dining venues, and over 500 square feet of meeting space. Conrad Los Cabos will be part of the OLEADA Pacific Living & Golf community, and it will include Ernie Els’ first golf course in Mexico. Hilton plans to expand its luxury portfolio in the Caribbean and Latin America with over 270 hotels and 135 properties in development.

🏠 Sonesta International Hotels Corporation announced the opening of Sonesta ES Suites Goodyear in Newton, Massachusetts. The 78-room extended stay hotel is located at 2020 N Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ. Conveniently situated near Goodyear Ballpark and other attractions, it offers apartment-style suites with full kitchens and complimentary daily breakfast. Guests can participate in the Sonesta Travel Pass loyalty program. The expansion reflects Sonesta’s commitment to the growing demand for extended stay accommodations.

🏢 Sage Hospitality Group adds Hilton Denver City Center to its portfolio, marking the first partnership with Park Hotels & Resorts. Located in downtown Denver, the hotel features 613 rooms and suites, and offers 35,000 square feet of meeting space with 33 conference rooms. Sage Restaurant Concepts will manage the hotel's on-site restaurant, Prospect’s Urban Kitchen and Bar, showcasing local ingredients and Colorado beers.

💼 Walter “J.R.” Dembiec, Jr. appointed as Brand President of ‘Reside, a Wyndham Residence’ on 17 December 2024. Reside, located in Seattle, has launched ‘Reside, a Wyndham Residence’ earlier in the year with five properties. Dembiec, with over 30 years of experience, will spearhead the expansion of the upscale extended-stay segment through a 10-year partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. The expansion targets the top 50 U.S. markets, adding to the current locations of Seattle, Houston, Washington, D.C., and New Orleans.

🏠 Canopy by Hilton debuts in South Dakota with the Canopy by Hilton Sioux Falls Downtown. Located in the Steel District on Big Sioux River, the hotel features 216 rooms, a riverfront location, two culinary outlets, a fitness center, and nearly 20,000 square feet of event space. This is Hilton's first lifestyle hotel in Sioux Falls. The property is near Falls Park, the 123-acre city center park, Levitt Outdoor Amphitheater, and the Sioux Falls Regional Airport. The interiors showcase local art and pay tribute to Sioux Steel's heritage, including yellow barrel drums in king rooms as nightstands and original ledger framing for in-room artwork. The hotel's restaurant serves Italian cuisine, and guests can enjoy a coffee bar with specialty coffees and seasonal treats.

🏨 Garner hotels celebrated the first anniversary of its inaugural property in Auburn, Washington, since opening in December 2023. IHG's 19th brand since August 2023, Garner hotels plans over 90 properties globally by end of 2024. First property conversions took seven weeks, with growth in European markets (58 of 76 properties in H1 2024). Expansion includes Germany, Netherlands, Austria, U.K., Türkiye, and Japan. Goal: 500 hotels in 10 years, 1,000 in 20. Unique amenities offered include hot breakfast, 24/7 coffee, and daily cookie happy hour.

🌳 Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree, set to open in April 2025, is a 4.6-hectare, 338-room nature-inspired resort within Mandai Wildlife Reserve, Singapore. Designed by WOW Architects, it includes 24 tree houses and a 300-seater Meranti Ballroom. The resort features biophilic architecture, sustainable practices like rainwater harvesting, and exclusive wildlife experiences. Glen Cook, General Manager, and Teo Joo Leng, Chief Product Officer of Mandai Wildlife Group, emphasize the resort's dedication to mindfulness and nature reconnection.

🏠 Hyatt Hotels Corp. partnered with The Venetian Resort Las Vegas for a licensing deal, enabling booking through Hyatt.com and World of Hyatt app. World of Hyatt members can earn/redeem points, enjoy benefits, and credit toward Brand Explorer Award at the resort's 7,000 rooms and 2.25 million square feet meeting space. The Venetian Resort, an all-suite luxury resort on the Las Vegas Strip, features gondola rides, celebrity chef dining, and entertainment. It recently underwent a $1.5-billion reinvestment, enhancing its suites. Venetian Rewards members will join World of Hyatt, aligning rewards for both memberships.
