📍 BH Group plans a multi-million-pound refurbishment of the Windermere Hotel in the Lake District, a landmark since 1847. Closed since late autumn, the project includes new reception, bar, and restaurant spaces, and a full refurbishment of 75 bedrooms, plus a spa and health club. Marshall’s Building Contractors from Yorkshire is handling the work. The reopening is set for early summer 2026, creating 130 jobs and boosting the local economy.

🏨 Namron Hospitality has opened its second US boutique hotel, Maison Felix, in Miami's North Beach in December 2025. The hotel, designed by Felix Cohen, features 29 rooms and suites with midcentury style. Amenities include a courtyard with a swimming pool and vaulted ceiling suites. Namron Hospitality, led by founder Yves Naman, also debuted Le Particulier in Miami Beach in October 2025. Maison Felix is designed to offer guests a local, authentic Miami experience.

🏨 Leonardo Hotels Central Europe will expand in Germany from December 1, 2025, acquiring four IntercityHotels in Nuremberg, Freiburg, Magdeburg, and Erfurt. Renovations are set to finish by Q2 2026, with a rebranding to Leonardo Hotels. This acquisition marks a major milestone, increasing their portfolio to 73 hotels in Germany. The hotels will maintain operations during sustainable upgrades, focusing on resource efficiency. These four new locations offer 638 rooms and various amenities for business and leisure travelers.

Redesigned by Michael Dreher, the hotel features 152 rooms, co-working spaces, and a library with over 300 books on lost countries. The lobby now serves multiple functions, with diverse seating and a window display showcasing Frankfurt motifs, enhancing guest experience without disrupting operations. 📚🏨

🏨 Over 20 artisans, specializing in plasterwork and woodcarving, contributed to the interiors of Rosemary, a boutique hotel in Marrakech created by LRNCE. The riad features five guest rooms, a scented hammam, a courtyard pool, and meals sourced from local souks. Located in the UNESCO-protected medina, structural changes were restricted, so LRNCE collaborated with local craftspeople for aesthetic updates. Notable features include a 40-year-old jacaranda tree and custom-made terrazzo tiles. Rosemary was shortlisted in the Dezeen Awards.
