🏨 Park Hyatt London River Thames' HR director, Melissa Brette Ogée, was named Change Maker of the Year at the 2025 European Diversity Awards. The Park Hyatt London features 203 rooms, art-focused design, and is near central London landmarks. Hyatt reported a $49 million Q3 net loss due to acquisition costs as of November 2025.

🌐 Marriott International, in collaboration with Signo Hospitality, plans to launch Fairfield by Marriott in Germany, targeting the select-service segment. The new hotel will open in Rheine by 2027, aligning with Marriott's strategy to grow in secondary cities with high potential.

🏖️ Kempinski Hotels and JTRE commenced the groundbreaking of Kempinski Grace Bay on Turks and Caicos, featuring 119 residences and four oceanfront villas. The ceremony, attended by local dignitaries, celebrates European elegance meeting Caribbean beauty. Construction spans until 2026, with completion in 2028. Amenities include fine dining, a 3,000 sq ft wine cellar, and a European spa. Sales are managed by Christie's International Real Estate and Engel & Völkers.

🏨 Studio Aluc transformed a 100-year-old machiya into Nazuna Kyoto Higashihonganji, a 600-square-metre hotel in central Kyoto, preserving original architecture. It features 7 guest rooms, a dining room, and a lounge. Renovation emphasizes traditional Japanese aesthetics with shoji doors, tatami mats, and hinoki cypress bathtubs. Communal spaces were opened with tsuboniwa courtyards and glass panels, enhancing natural light. The design is inspired by the "beauty of shadows" concept, promoting tranquility.

🏨 The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami reopens on December 8, 2025, after a $100 million transformation. The resort spans 17 acres of the Atlantic Ocean coastline. This renewal, its first in nearly 25 years, brings 421 guest rooms, expanded water sports, and a new spa. Dining includes six unique options, such as Luma and Paralía. Developed by Gencom and designed by Hart Howerton and others, it emphasizes wellness and modern elegance.

🏨 Island Shangri-La launched the Hong Kong Suite on the 50th floor, offering views of Victoria Harbour. Established in 1991, it features YUN WELLNESS and Ming Pavilion. The suite embodies Asian luxury with feng shui design, a super king-size bed, and a marble bathtub. Dining with a 65-inch TV and a dedicated butler enhances the experience. Located in Hong Kong Island, Island Shangri-La continues its renovation to blend calm urban living with vibrant city life.

🌴 Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened Secrets Mirabel Cancun Resort & Spa, an adult-only, all-inclusive resort, in Cancun's Hotel Zone. Just eight miles from Cancun International Airport, it features 487 rooms, eight restaurants, and six bars. The resort offers six pools, an expansive spa opening soon, and event spaces including a 2,800 sq ft ballroom. It emphasizes sustainability with soap recycling and local sourcing. World of Hyatt members can earn 500 Bonus Points for qualifying nights.

🏨 Elysian Real Estate Group is set to open "bohème" in East Austin at 400 Comal St. in summer 2026. It features 20 uniquely designed rooms, including 14 standard rooms and six signature suites. Originally a sustainable apartment building, bohème is transformed in partnership with Baldridge Architects. Highlights include The Outlaw, The Start-Up, and The Den suites. 🏨 Cheval Collection, in partnership with Ladun Investment Company, will open its second site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, under the Cheval Maison brand by 2028. The property will feature approximately 150 contemporary apartments near King Salman Park. This expansion follows the planned 2027 opening of Cheval Ladun Living. The new site will include a gym, pool, and dining options, and will be part of the Cheval DISCOVERY loyalty program with the Global Hotel Alliance.
