🏚 Ómós guesthouse, located outside Abbeyleix, Ireland, was transformed from a Victorian ruin into a 16-room haven by Ryan W Kennihan Architects. The interior, crafted by Asca Studio and Relief Gallery, fuses tactile materials like Kilkenny limestone, ash, and lime plaster, balancing weight, warmth, and acoustics. There’s also an adjoining restaurant inspired by Irish farmsteads, highlighting consistent internal symbology and material palettes across the spaces.

🏨 Lifestyle Hospitality Developer is expanding in Charlotte's South End with a new luxury property featuring 295 rooms. The development will include a full spa and introduce a unique wellness pool deck, marking a first for the area. This expansion aims to enhance the local hospitality scene by offering premium amenities and accommodations, catering to both visitors and residents seeking upscale experiences.

🏨 August 4, 2026, Aberdeen, SD – My Place Hotels of America opens its first Florida location in the Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda area, a key connection between Fort Myers and Tampa. As an upper-midscale extended-stay brand and the largest affiliated company of The Rivett Organization, this expansion marks a significant milestone in broadening their U.S. presence.

🏖 Crestline Hotels & Resorts will manage two hotels in Vail Valley, Colorado: the 116-room SpringHill Suites and the 127-room TownePlace Suites. Set near Beaver Creek and Vail’s ski slopes, these hotels offer amenities like complimentary breakfast, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, and 1,515 sq. ft. of event space. Guests can enjoy the Corduroy Bar and Bites, and benefit from free shuttles to skiing spots. Both properties are equipped with suites offering kitchen facilities and mountain views.

📍 My Place Hotels opened a new 63-room property in Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda, Florida, located along the I-75 corridor at Kings Highway. This is the first new hotel in the area in over five years and one of two extended-stay options. Legacy Development began site work in 2022, with construction starting in 2025. The hotel is owned by PCMP 23, LLC and managed by Legacy Management, LLC. Three additional Florida locations are under development.

🌏 Silversea reveals its new 150-room hotel, The Cormorant at 55 South, located in Puerto Williams, Chile. It will open in October 2026 as part of their Antarctica Fly Cruise program. The hotel features signature spaces like the Fireplace Lounge and Bar Sur, with rooms offering views of forests or the Beagle Channel. Guests can enjoy activities such as hiking and kayaking. The hotel will operate seasonally from October to March, promoting luxury travel to Antarctica.

🍵 Matchaful's new Ritual Bar in Brooklyn, opened in 2024 near Williamsburg café, offers a zen tea experience with guided tastings and matcha ceremonies. Designed by Now or Never Studio, the space features seating for eight, with natural materials like Cipollino Verde marble and local artisan ceramics. A matcha grinder room opens later this year. Located at 92 Berry St, the café encourages presence and connection with minimal decor, a landscaped patio, and seasonal tea menus.
