🏨 Bain Capital and Smith Hill Capital completed a $94 million refinancing for renovating and rebranding a 281-key hotel as Hotel Cala in Hilton's Curio Collection. Located on the Hillsborough River in Downtown Tampa's Riverwalk District, this seven-story hotel transformation includes redesigned guestrooms, meeting spaces, and a waterfront deck. The project aims to attract both business and leisure travelers, enhancing the property's value in Tampa's dynamic lodging market.

🏨 Capella Kyoto, designed by Kengo Kuma and Brewin Design Office, opened in Kyoto's historic Gion district on a former primary school site. The hotel’s interior design emulates the staggered layout of traditional machiya townhouses, featuring 89 wood-lined rooms and 3 restaurants, including the French brasserie Lanterne. Notable elements include a central courtyard with a pond, rooms with views of local landmarks, and six suites with onsen-style tubs. This project highlights a modern homage to Kyoto's cultural heritage.

🏨 High Hotels, a subsidiary of High Real Estate Group, has started constructing a 140-room Tempo by Hilton in Bethlehem, PA’s SouthSide Arts District. It is the first of its kind in the state. Opening is slated for October 2027, creating over 50 jobs. The hotel will be adjacent to ArtsQuest Creative Factory, SteelStacks, and Lehigh University. High Associates, Greenfield Architects, and High Construction Company are leading the project.

📍 Groupe Barrière, renowned for its Fouquet's brand, is expanding its international luxury hotel portfolio to Mykonos, following successful entries into New York and Saint-Barthélemy. Fouquet's Mykonos, designed by Divercity Architects, includes 61 suites and 3 private villas on Paraga Beach. It features an indoor pool and a rock-face basketball court. Culinary and wellness experiences are offered in partnership with ROKA and Dr. Barbara Sturm, enhancing its appeal to global high-net-worth travelers.

🏖 Outbound Hotels debuted Outbound Sedona on May 7, 2026. Located in Sedona, Arizona, the 138-room resort features design inspired by red rock landscapes, wellness amenities, and a variety of accommodations. The spa opens May 15, offering four treatment rooms, an adult pool, and saunas. Moonwater provides a unique poolside experience, while the upcoming Lucida restaurant will highlight Southwestern flavors. Guests enjoy access to trail essentials, tennis courts, and the Verde Shuttle service.

🏖 The Diplomat Beach Resort transitioned into the Signia by Hilton brand, officially opening in 2023 after an $80 million renovation. This 1,000-room South Florida resort features over 200,000 square feet of event space, including a 50,000-square-foot Great Hall. Guests can enjoy six dining venues and a semi-private beach. The Club Signia, located on the 33rd floor, offers exclusive amenities for premium guests. Signia by Hilton continues to expand globally with new locations planned.
