📈 Jeff Miller has been appointed as the Chief Development Officer at StepStone Hospitality in Providence, Rhode Island. Responsible for leading business development, Miller will focus on expanding the portfolio, which includes 40 hotels with over 6,500 rooms. Previously, Miller was VP at Aimbridge Hospitality, negotiating over 30 hotel management agreements. Before the 2022 Prism/Aimbridge merger, he held leadership roles at Prism Hotels & Resorts, overseeing more than 10 hotels as VP of Sales.

🏨 Langham Hospitality Group appointed Nils-Arne Schroeder as chief operating officer. Schroeder will oversee operations for over 30 hotels, with 20+ properties in development, including Thailand and China this year, Italy and Malaysia in 2027, and Saudi Arabia in 2028. Schroeder brings 30 years of experience, having worked with Raffles, Fairmont, and Hilton. LHG’s CEO highlighted Schroeder’s ability to meet market needs while maintaining brand identity. Schroeder is excited about LHG’s growth opportunities.

🏨 Hilton CEO Chris Nassetta reported a positive Q2 2026, with net income at $482 million. The company saw a 3.9% increase in RevPAR and approved 42,900 new rooms, growing its pipeline to 541,300. Room openings rose 50% from Q1 2026, with notable debuts in Greece and India. Hilton's initiatives include reduced loyalty fees and the Hilton Rise program, aiming to increase owner profitability amid persistent inflation.
