📈 Stephan Thoennissen is appointed as the new COO of NUMA Group to align with its European scale-up strategy. NUMA now operates in 36 cities across 15 countries and achieved over 1 million nights served with more than 100% revenue growth in 2024. The company aims for €80 million additional revenue and €50 million in gross operating profit by 2025. Stephan will expand NUMA's presence, focusing on key distribution channels and new local entities.

🏨 Macdonald Pittodrie House, near Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, is a historic luxury hotel set in 300 acres, popular for weddings. Recent months show increased wedding bookings. Julie Hutchison, with over a decade's experience, became manager in April 2025. The hotel hosts weddings for up to 100 guests in its ballroom, offering bespoke options. The venue is renowned for its award-winning service and picturesque setting, enhancing its reputation as a prime leisure destination.

🏢 Covivio, a leader in the European property market, is reorganizing to enhance customer experience. In 2023, they established a new Marketing & Customer Experience Europe Division led by Céline Leonardi. Since joining Covivio in 2009, Leonardi, aged 43, has held various roles, including leading the Wellio project since 2017. This strategic move aims to strengthen Covivio's product offerings and improve user-centric real estate solutions across Europe.

🏨 Marco Tabet appointed as new general manager of Hotel del Coronado, California. With 20+ years of experience, previously general manager at Conrad Punta de Mita for six years. Will manage post-renovation operations following a $550 million project adding dining, spa, fitness, and accommodations upgrades. Tabet has led various Hilton properties including in Los Cabos, Lima, and Panama. Hotel del Coronado features five neighborhoods, with Shore House and Beach Village as part of LXR Hotels & Resorts and others in Hilton's Curio Collection. Victorian neighborhood undergoing $160 million restoration.

🏠 Pascal Billard appointed general manager of Le Meurice in Paris, starts August 1, 2025. He succeeds Franka Holtmann, who retired in February after 18+ years. Billard has over 35 years in hospitality, including 12 years at Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona and previous experience at Hôtel Plaza Athénée (2009-2013), part of Dorchester Collection. Le Meurice, opened since 1835, houses the two-Michelin-starred Le Meurice Alain Ducasse and pastry chef Cedric Grolet's patisserie. Dorchester Collection's Christopher Cowdray praises Billard's luxury hospitality expertise.
