💻 Expedia and Booking are leveraging AI to enhance services and personalization. Expedia's CEO, Ariane Gorin, mentioned that their sites are 30% faster than last year. Booking's CFO, Ewout Steenbergen, noted a 10% increase in bookings while customer service costs decreased. In 2025, Expedia spent $8.19 billion on selling and marketing, with total revenue of $14.73 billion. Marriott predicts 2026 gross fee revenues between $5.90 billion and $5.96 billion. The competition between hotels and OTAs continues to intensify.

Voco Zeal Exeter achieves BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rating

This IHG project, built to Passivhaus standards with SCS, incorporates ultra-low carbon methods, Solarlab vertical photovoltaic panels, and 100% electric operations. It won ‘Green Building Project of the Year’ at the edie Net Zero Awards 2025. Completed by RED Construction Group, it aims to aid the hotel industry in reaching net zero by 2050.
