Lighthouse closes $370M Series C round

The investment, to further its mission in the $15B market, will drive product innovation, acquisitions, and global expansion. Existing investors include Spectrum Equity, F-Prime Capital, Eight Roads Ventures, and Highgate Technology Ventures. KKR's Next Generation Technology III Fund is the investment vehicle used. William Blair and Latham & Watkins advised on the financial and legal aspects, respectively.

STR lowers US lodging forecast for this year and next

Raines breaks ground on second Shepherd hotel in South Carolina

🏡 Raines is developing The Shepherd Hotel Columbia Vista, with construction completion expected in fall 2025. Mashburn Construction is building the 59-room hotel, designed by Garvin Design Group, located in Columbia, S.C. The historic Columbia Central Fire Station is being transformed into the hotel featuring modern amenities. Raines' portfolio now includes 57 hotels with 6,177 keys. The company marked its 35th year in 2023 and added over 20 hotels to its management portfolio, including a deal with Atlantic Hotels Group.
