Leela Palaces moves outside India with Dubai investment

By Q3 2026, they will acquire a 25% stake in a 23-acre beachfront resort on Palm Jumeirah, with Brookfield managing the remaining 75%. The resort includes 546 keys, comprising a hotel, residences, and villas, with a purchase price of $504 million. Dubai, a top tourism destination, attracted over 19 million visitors in 2024. The investment uses non-recourse debt and aims for returns within 2–3 years.

PM Hospitality acquires The Mount Somerset

Originally built between 1805 and 1815 as Henlade House, it operated as a hotel in the 21st century and underwent significant renovations post-2021. The property joins their portfolio, including Coombe Lodge, Rockbeare Manor, and Priston Mill, enhancing their offerings for weddings and corporate events.

Tenterden’s Little Silver Country Hotel sold to local buyer for £1.7m

Hyde Park hotel acquired with £20m funding from Cohort Capital

Floating-rate loans dominate assets in transition; $26 billion in loans mature in 2025 alone. Revenue is expected to grow by 1-1.5% in 2026, bolstered by ADR increases and World Cup events.
