Covivio acquires a hotel under construction in Porto, leased to Meininger

📅 Covivio strengthens its Southern Europe presence by acquiring a Meininger hotel in Porto, Portugal, for €31.6 million from Eiffage Immobilier. The hotel will feature 228 rooms, totaling 834 beds over 9,150 sq m. Construction begins first quarter 2026, with opening second half 2028. Meininger signs a 20-year lease for this Bonfim district hotel, near Campanhã terminal. This marks Covivio's fourth Meininger property, joining locations in Paris, Lyon, and Munich.
