🏨 Hunter Advisors announced the sale of the 117-room Hampton Inn & Suites Lakeland-South Polk Parkway in Lakeland, Florida, to Brasswater. Built in 2008 and renovated recently, the hotel is located in Lakeside Village, an 88-acre destination with 72 stores and restaurants. Amenities include a meeting room, pool, fitness center, and business center. This marks Brasswater's first hotel purchase in Florida in over a decade, as part of their strategy to expand in the region.

🏗️ Kailas Companies secured a $120 million bridge loan and preferred equity from Access Point Financial and TMGOC Ventures. The funds recapitalize a converted office building in downtown New Orleans into a dual-branded hotel: 250-key Fairmont by Accor and 216-key Element by Westin. The tower, originally built in 1970, was acquired in 2014 and construction started in January 2024. The site includes 150,000 sq. ft. of office space and is centrally located near key New Orleans landmarks.

💰 European hotel transactions reached €9.4 billion in H1 2026, 10% lower than H1 2025 but 11% above the ten-year average. The €36.7 million average price per hotel rose by 12%, while the average price per room hit €268,000, up 18%. The UK led with 32% of transactions. Real Estate Investment Companies were the largest buyers, acquiring €4.1 billion. Private Equity firms shifted to net sellers, disposing of €1.3 billion.

🏠 Peachtree Group expanded its Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) platform with acquisitions in Florida and Missouri. In 2022, Peachtree launched the DST platform, now valued at $525 million. The Holiday Inn Express Cape Canaveral, with 150 rooms, is near Port Canaveral, benefiting from nearby tourist attractions. In St. Louis, a 48,206-square-foot industrial facility leased to Cummins Inc. enhances cash flow with a 15-year lease. These are Peachtree's 14th and 15th DST offerings.

📈 H World Group, based in Shanghai and Singapore, reported an 11% year-on-year revenue growth to RMB13.1 billion ($1.9 billion) in H1 2026. Chinese revenue rose by 13.8% to $1.6 billion. Operating margins improved to 28.3%. The Chinese hotel network reached 13,417 hotels. A $2.5 billion shareholder return plan starts on August 17, 2026. International RevPAR fell by 3.8% to $98. Full-year 2026 guidance for H World Group includes revenue growth of 4%-8%.

🏠 Craigroyston House and Lodge in Pitlochry, a 19th-century Victorian villa, is on the market for over £1.1 million. Located in Perthshire, within 0.49 acres, it offers eight en-suite bedrooms across three floors. Pitlochry, 25 miles north of Perth, is a popular tourist spot. The sale is managed by Peter Seymour of Graham and Sibbald. The Claymore Hotel, with 14 bedrooms, sold for £1.3 million in 2022, setting a market benchmark. 🏨 Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of a 115-room Staybridge Suites hotel in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Skyler Cooper, Chris Gomes, and Ryan Sarbinoff managed the sale for the seller, with Northrise, LLC and Vetri Management Inc. purchasing. The property includes amenities like a resort-style pool, a complimentary breakfast bar, and 1,171 square feet of meeting space.
