Hyatt adds Bahia Principe resorts via JV with Grupo Piñero

🏡 Hyatt Hotels Corp. has completed a 50/50 joint venture with Grupo Piñero, adding 22 Bahia Principe resorts and 12,000 rooms to its Inclusive Collection. The strategic alliance is based in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The venture includes properties across the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Jamaica, and Spain, and will expand Hyatt's all-inclusive offerings by about 30%. Julio Pérez is the JV CEO, and Encarna Piñero is the chairman. Hyatt aims to grow its Inclusive Collection to over 140 properties by the end of 2024.

Hilton expands in the Caribbean with Tapestry Collection resort in Bonaire
