Hospitable launches cleaner marketplace and major operations update, delivering “cleaning on autopilot” for hosts

For the first time, hosts gain built-in access to trusted cleaners with real-time tracking and proof of completion

SAN FRANCISCO, 9 SEPTEMBER 2025 – Property management software Hospitable has today announced the launch of its new Cleaner Marketplace, alongside a major Operations platform update that together automate turnovers and property care from end to end.

The release marks a significant step in Hospitable’s evolution, expanding its property management software to include a fully integrated operations platform.

Available first in the US and Canada, the Cleaner Marketplace connects hosts with a vetted network of more than 150,000 screened and reviewed cleaners, all accessible directly inside Hospitable. They simply create a checklist, receive a transparent quote, and let Hospitable automatically assign, dispatch, and pay cleaners. Traditionally, cleaner marketplaces required leaving the PMS or adding an integration; Hospitable has built this capability directly in, removing friction and keeping all operations in one place.

Every step is tracked in real time, from when a cleaner is en route to when tasks are completed. Hosts gain accountability through door photos, before-and-after media, detailed checklists, and issue tracking. Cleaners can upload photos, videos, and notes directly into the Hospitable inbox, ensuring full visibility and seamless communication. For added security, Hospitable has also introduced Operations Smart Lock Codes: per-task, time-bound codes create secure property access with automatic buffers and can be attached to any task through a notification rule.

The Operations update expands automation into a flexible system that manages recurring, semi-regular, and one-off tasks. Checklists are automatically generated from property details and amenities, then dynamically adjusted based on reservation context: guest count, pets, sofa sleeper use, or reported issues like a spill or a lightbulb needing replacement. Guest-reported problems automatically roll into the next turnover checklist, ensuring nothing is missed.

Cleaners and hosts can communicate directly in Hospitable, with timestamped photos and notes providing a two-way record that makes claims easier to resolve.

Together, these updates solve one of the biggest challenges in short-term rentals: reliable, accountable cleaning and turnover management. By combining trusted cleaners, smart automation, and real-time tracking in a single platform, Hospitable gives independent hosts the ability to deliver professional-level standards at scale, with faster turnovers, spotless properties, and consistently better guest experiences.

Pierre-Camille Hamana, CEO and Founder of Hospitable, said “Cleaning and turnovers have always been a major pain point in short-term rentals. It’s hard to source cleaners, harder to coordinate them, and nearly impossible to guarantee consistency at scale. We wanted to remove that burden. With today’s launch, Hospitable brings vetted cleaners, automated task management, and real-time accountability into the platform, taking away one of the biggest operational headaches hosts and managers face.”

Launched in 2016 as a time-saving PMS, Hospitable has evolved into a short-term rental super app that goes beyond traditional property management – automating guest messaging with AI, optimizing nightly rates, managing rental agreements and security deposits, coordinating teams, and powering direct booking websites with built-in payments and property protection.
