Casago selects new franchise partner to manage 50+ Vacasa vacation homes in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho

September 19, 2025 – Coeur d’Alene, ID – Casago Unwind, a new Casago franchise partner, has been appointed to manage more than 50 Vacasa vacation rental properties in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. 

Casago Unwind is led by Edward and Michele Johnson, who bring deep local ties to the community. Edward was raised in the Coeur d’Alene area, while Michele grew up nearby in Montana. Together, they bring personal knowledge of the region’s tourism appeal and a shared commitment to building a property management business rooted in guest experience, homeowner trust, and community engagement.

The move follows Casago’s acquisition of Vacasa earlier this year and represents another milestone in Casago’s strategy to transition former Vacasa markets into its franchise-driven model. 

With Casago’s infrastructure and systems supporting operations, Casago Unwind will oversee all operations locally, giving homeowners and guests direct access to a full Coeur d’Alene-based team backed by Casago’s national systems and infrastructure. Discussions are underway to retain members of the existing Vacasa team to ensure continuity and consistency through the transition and beyond.
