Delano set to expand in New York and London

📍 Ennismore has signed for Delano SoHo New York and Delano London. Delano SoHo New York, located in Hudson Square, offers 390 rooms and is a 46-storey hotel. Delano London, near Kensington Gardens, will feature 67 rooms and open in late 2026. Both hotels include wellness, dining, and retail spaces. These signings precede the Delano Miami Beach relaunch next year. Upcoming openings in Miami, New York, and London mark a new chapter for this luxury lifestyle brand.

Marriott offers agentic AI outside

🏖 Marriott International launched the Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy, featuring Postcard Cabins and Trailborn Hotels, under the platform Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors. This platform integrates over 400 hotels, 50,000+ Homes & Villas, and Marriott Bonvoy Tours & Activities, targeting seven outdoor passions. In 2024, Marriott acquired Postcard Cabins with 29 properties and 1,200 cabins, and partnered with Trailborn Hotels with four U.S. locations. This strategic move focuses on upscale accommodations in nature-centric destinations.

Village Hotel Club Reading appoints new general manager

🏨 Rob Lees will manage Village Hotel Club's new site in Reading, opening in December. Located at the former Crowne Plaza at Caversham Bridge, this site is undergoing a multi-million-pound refurbishment, creating over 100 jobs. Lees, with 20 years in hospitality, previously managed Village Hotel Club Farnborough. The Reading hotel will feature a health club, event spaces, Starbucks, and a riverside Pub and Grill. Village is also Reading FC's hotel partner for the 2025–26 season.

Adagio appoints new chief financial officer

With a decade of experience at KFC France and former roles at Domino’s Pizza and Galileo Global Education France, Lemarchand will manage Adagio’s financial processes. Founded in 2007, Adagio is a joint venture between Accor and Pierre and Vacances Centre Parcs, operating 130 locations with 14,815 apartments across 15 countries. CEO Xavier Desaulles highlights Lemarchand’s expertise in network-based organizations during this growth phase.

PM Hospitality acquires The Mount Somerset

🏠 PM Hospitality Limited, a South West luxury event venue firm, acquired The Mount Somerset for an undisclosed sum. Originally built between 1805 and 1815 as Henlade House, it operated as a hotel in the 21st century and underwent significant renovations post-2021. Directors Andrew and Aimee Carveth plan further restorations and will restore its original name. The property joins their portfolio, including Coombe Lodge, Rockbeare Manor, and Priston Mill, enhancing their offerings for weddings and corporate events.

Hotel-residence brand The Code set for December debut in Austin

🏠 Pearlstone Partners and AvantStay will launch The Code at 2323 South Lamar Blvd, Austin, in December. The property features 178 residences across five stories, with studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units priced from $419,000 to $849,000. Amenities include a rooftop terrace, pool, and coworking spaces. Sales contracts begin November 3rd, with plans for nationwide expansion. The flexible use model allows ownership and short-term stays, embodying a new hospitality concept.
