🏨 In 2025, WorldHotels, based in Phoenix, Arizona, expanded with nearly 100 new hotels across 12 countries and initiated WorldHotels™ Residences. The luxury travel industry is expected to hit $1.7 trillion by 2032. New projects include Essensia Sky and Parkway Saigon WorldHotels Residences, Asheville River Cabins, The Lodge at Pico Bonito, and Marangatu Luxury Hotel. In 2026, around 40 additional hotels are in development, featuring branded residences, glamping, and wellness offerings.

U.S. hotel results for week ending 3 January

🏨 The U.S. hotel industry saw a boost from December 28, 2025, to January 3, 2026, with occupancy at 50.5% (+4.4%), ADR at $175.47 (+3.4%), and RevPAR at $88.65 (+7.9%). Minneapolis led in occupancy growth (+14.9% to 42.7%), while Miami saw significant rises in ADR (+17.1% to $383.32) and RevPAR (+26.4% to $337.51). In contrast, Tampa's occupancy dropped by 15.2% to 65.8%, with RevPAR declining by 19.4% to $112.70.
