🏠 Bob W is expanding into Valencia with two new serviced apartment projects. Bob W Valencia Patraix, a 2,916sqm building with 62 studios, will open in August 2026 at Gaspar Aguilar 106. Bob W Valencia Turia, a 900sqm development with 20 apartments, is set to open in Q2 2027 in La Saïdia. Both projects leverage sustainable practices and aim to accommodate leisure and business travelers, with Patraix focusing on visitors to nearby hospitals.

🏨 Radisson Hotel Group and Jin Jiang International Hotels have launched their first Radisson Collection hotel in southwest China, Chengdu, occupying 16 floors in the Cloud Yunduan Tower. This new flagship site offers 178 rooms, four dining venues, two ballrooms (322 and 280 sq m), and leisure facilities including a pool, spa, and fitness center. Located near Tianfu Software Park with metro access, it aims to be a new benchmark for international services and exchanges.

🏊 Haven opened a £12m Lost Lagoon waterpark at its Kent Coast site near Rochester, part of a £50m investment. The opening was led by Joe Swash with local schoolchildren in attendance. The waterpark features four pool zones and a waterslide and is powered by high-temperature heat pumps for improved energy efficiency. Haven has invested over £700m since 2021. In 2025, the site welcomed 98,000 guests and employed over 400 workers during peak season.

🏨 BWH Hotels GB signed three new hotels in Lyndhurst, London, and Newark, adding 100 rooms, raising their yearly addition to 291 rooms. The hotels are Forest Lodge (36 rooms), Best Western Chiswick Rooms (33 rooms, with a recent £500k refurbishment), and Sure Hotel Newark (30 rooms). The total portfolio now exceeds 230 properties. The Royal Maritime Hotel, another recent addition, earned nearly £50k in its first month.

🏖 Radisson Hotel Group opened a 300-room resort on Phuket's northwest coast, Thailand, to expand its presence. Located between Layan Beach and Sirinat National Park, it's a 30-minute drive from Phuket International Airport and 15 minutes from Laguna Phuket. The resort offers standard guestrooms, family suites, two-bedroom suites, three dining venues, a spa, fitness center, and three pools. It features a 324-square-metre ballroom and four meeting rooms for corporate events. Nearby attractions include Old Phuket Town and Wat Phra Thong temple.

🏨 Meininger Hotels enters Scotland with a new site in Edinburgh, opening on 5 August. Located in the West End, it features 157 rooms and 549 beds. The development involved converting Osborne House, a 1970s office building. Managed by Ogilvie Construction and owned by S Harrison, it becomes Meininger's 38th European hotel. The Edinburgh site employs around 20 staff and is part of a broader expansion that includes recent openings in Barcelona, Madrid, Porto, and Tel Aviv.
