🏨 The Grand Hotel Birmingham celebrated its fifth anniversary on May 18, 2023, after a £50m restoration. Originally opened in 1879, it features 185 bedrooms. The hotel employs several hundred staff, including 13 from the reopening. Partnerships include art displays and a student cocktail competition, won by "Five Years In Bloom" on May 13. The hotel includes Isaac’s restaurant and Downstairs At The Grand venue. Historical guests included King George V and The Beatles.
