Expanding globally, they announced Tower Bridge Collective in London, featuring 13 food partners offering diverse dishes.

SINO: A New Ukrainian-Inspired Restaurant to Open 21st May, Notting Hill

🍽 SINO, a Ukrainian-inspired restaurant by Polina Sychova and chef Eugene Korolev, opens in Notting Hill on May 21, 2025. The menu features reimagined Ukrainian dishes using British and Ukrainian ingredients, with starters like Hay infused wild mushroom broth and mains such as Cherry glazed BBQ catfish. The 52-cover venue includes a 30-cover main room and 10-cover PDR. Polina designed the interior with Ukrainian motifs, and Eugene, a former Bocuse D’Or Ukraine president and Ukrainian special forces member, leads a Ukrainian chef brigade. Bookings start on May 7, 2025, at sinorestaurant.co.uk.

House of Rohl Exhibiting at Clerkenwell Design Week for the First Time

🛆 Victoria + Albert to preview their new soaking bath at Clerkenwell Design Week, 20-22 May, in the London Charterhouse courtyard. The Kerid bath, launching in September, is 135cm long, 83cm high, and made from a blend of Volcanic Limestone™ and resin, suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. It targets a growing market seeking the health benefits of soaking. The House of Rohl exhibit will also feature a kitchen island by Luxe Projects, with Shaws and Perrin & Rowe brands, and traditional bathroom displays with Artisans of Devizes. Cold and warm water immersion benefits include reduced stress, improved sleep, mood, circulation, and mental well-being. The Charterhouse venue will host various design concepts and Conversations at Clerkenwell.

Banyan Group Unveils Garrya Mu Cang Chai, the First Garrya Hotel in Vietnam

🏡 In Yen Bai Province, Northern Vietnam, the Banyan Group opened Garrya Mu Cang Chai, a new resort in the iconic Mu Cang Chai region, celebrated for its mountain landscapes and rice terraces. The resort covers 6.5 hectares, providing 110 rooms, suites, and villas with panoramic views. Room sizes range from 30 to 154 square meters, featuring bamboo accents and brocade motifs. Facilities include the 8LEMENTS Spa, Hydro Wellbeing Area, ReCharge Gym, and an 8-metre-high bamboo ballroom. The resort is accessible from Hanoi by a six-hour drive and is located over 300 kilometers north of the city.

Atzaró Okavango in Botswana announces Condé Nast Traveller ‘Hot List’ Best New Hotels 2025 award

🏕 Atzaró Okavango Camp in Botswana, opened June 2024, secures the Conde Nast Traveller ‘Hot List’ Best New Hotels 2025 award. The luxury camp offers 12 suites, two villas, all with plunge pools and star-beds. It partners with African Bush Camps Foundation (ABCF), which started the Female Guides Program in 2021, now introducing female guides in 2025. ABCF supports Ditsiping Village with education and healthcare, including a full-time tutor and transport for mobile clinic staff. Guests can enjoy a 20-meter pool, wildlife safaris, wellness facilities, and children's activities, with encouragement for stays of 5+ days. The camp is eco-friendly, employing a solar farm and water purification systems.

OSTERIA ANGELINA TO OPEN ON 20TH MAY

🍴 Osteria Angelina, a new pasta and grill restaurant by the Angelina, Dalston team, opens on May 20th in Norton Folgate. Pre-opening vouchers offer dining at double the purchase value, with a chance to win a year of free dining. The founders, Joshua Owens-Baigler, Amar Takhar, and Laura Horta, unveil a large, converted warehouse space on the border of Spitalfields, Shoreditch, and the City. Executive chef Usman Haider presents a relaxed à la carte menu with fresh pastas with a Japanese twist and 'big cut' Binchotan grill dishes. The menu includes eight regularly changing fresh pastas, Binchotan fired grill cuts for sharing, and more than 300 Italian wines plus a selection of Sake and cocktails. The 75-cover restaurant features an open kitchen, chef counter, table seating, bespoke tableware, furniture by Anna Owens Designs, and a private dining room for up to 18 guests. Bookings are now open.
