Refreshed Ink & Ivory and new Backstage Market mark latest phase in hotel’s ongoing evolution

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 1, 2026) – The Nash, located in the heart of downtown Nashville, has unveiled a reimagined first-floor experience, marking the latest phase in the hotel’s ongoing evolution with refreshed food and beverage offerings at Ink & Ivory and the debut of Backstage Market, the hotel’s newly named café concept.

The updates follow the hotel’s debut as The Nash earlier this year and reimagine the arrival experience across the lobby, Ink & Ivory and Backstage Market. Together, the refreshed spaces create a more fluid connection between the hotel’s public areas, dining experiences and the energy of downtown Nashville, while giving guests and locals new ways to experience The Nash throughout the day.

Ink & Ivory, the hotel’s moody restaurant and bar, pairs a warm, intimate atmosphere with a refreshed, market-driven menu highlighting local purveyors through shareable plates. Signature dishes and shareable favorites include the Farmer’s Board, Honey Whipped Feta, “Caviar of the South” pimento cheese, Broadway Burger, Steak Frites and Ora King Salmon A La Plancha.

A new lineup of craft cocktails, including Printer’s Alley Old Fashioned, Blue Note Fog and Bourbon & Bubbles, complements the menu, while the bar opens toward the streetside dining area through functional garage-style doors, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection to downtown. Low lighting, layered textures and intimate seating make Ink & Ivory an inviting retreat for a casual lunch, evening cocktails, pre-show dinner or late-night bite. Ink & Ivory is open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight.

Offering a brighter counterpoint, Backstage Market brings an easy, casual energy to mornings and afternoons at The Nash. The light-filled café offers freshly brewed coffee and cold brew, breakfast sandwiches, pastries and wholesome bowls in a relaxed setting designed for everything from a leisurely morning to a convenient grab-and-go stop. Backstage Market is open daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“The Nash is designed to feel connected to the rhythm of downtown Nashville,” said Granit Berisha, General Manager of The Nash. “This latest evolution of our first floor gives guests and locals more ways to experience the hotel throughout the day, whether they’re starting the morning with coffee, gathering for lunch, enjoying cocktails before a show or winding down after a night downtown.”

The first-floor refresh is part of the continued evolution of The Nash, which debuted earlier this year with a new identity inspired by the character and creative energy of Music City. Elevate, the hotel’s rooftop destination, is next, with renovations expected to begin in late 2026. Additional details about the rooftop enhancements will be shared as the project progresses.
