🏖 Hyatt Hotels Corp. plans to open Hyatt Ziva Punta Cana, an all-inclusive resort, by 2029 in the Dominican Republic. Located 40 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport, it will feature 650 guestrooms, five specialty restaurants, six bars, a spa, and various recreational facilities. This expansion reflects Hyatt's strategy, already operating 34 hotels in the country, with a focus on family-friendly experiences. The development is in partnership with Codelpa.

🏠 Kimpton Era Midtown New York opened in a 33-story skyscraper by Extell Development Company. The hotel has 529 guestrooms, including suites and terrace rooms, designed as “jewel box” spaces. Dining venues managed by Apicii include The Parlor, Bar Rocco (led by Chef Rocco DiSpirito), Amasa (opening March 2026), and Jade Rabbit (opening April 2026). Features include a 1,375-square-foot gym. The design blends classicism with NYC's character.

📅 Aloft Tampa Downtown, located in downtown Tampa, completed a $5-million renovation, led by Studio 11 Design, enhancing guestrooms, public areas, and social spaces. The renovation, announced by Newbond Holdings and HEI Hotels & Resorts, includes upgraded amenities and technology, reflecting Tampa's growing appeal for business and leisure. Public areas now provide open, social environments in line with the Aloft brand. The hotel remains near key attractions like Tampa’s Riverwalk and the Tampa Convention Center.

🏨 Corinthia Rome opened at Piazza del Parlamento, debuting Corinthia Hotels in Italy. Set in a historic palazzo once linked to the Bank of Italy, the 9,700-square-meter hotel offers 60 rooms, including penthouses and a spa. Near key landmarks, it's owned by Reuben Brothers and designed by Pio and Marcello Piacentini. Rooms start at €1,300, suites at €2,100. An Easter package is available from April 1-12, 2026. 🏖 Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Villas in San Antonio completed a $100-million renovation on its 300-acre site. The project, finished over a multi-year period, includes The Big Spring 2.2-acre lagoon and Rancher Hall event space. Powered by Crystal Lagoons® technology, it introduces beach life to Central Texas. Opened in summer 2025, five standalone villas and Toptracer Range™ golf bays enhance the resort's offerings, blending luxury, recreation, and historic charm.

🏨 Driftwood Hospitality Management announced the renovation of Delta Hotels Nashville Airport, a 200-key property now under the Delta Hotels by Marriott brand. Located at 733 Briley Pkwy, it’s five minutes from Nashville International Airport. The hotel features eight meeting rooms, 8,000 sq ft of event space, and an onsite restaurant, Blackwood Nashville. This is Tennessee’s first Delta Hotels-branded property, emphasizing Nashville's hospitality growth and meeting business traveler demand.

🏖 1 Hotel Tokyo, part of Tokyo World Gate Akasaka, opened in Akasaka Trust Tower. It occupies floors 38-43 with 211 rooms, including 24 suites and 3 penthouses. The hotel prioritizes sustainability, earning CASBEE S certification. Dining options are NiNi, Spotted Stone bar, and Neighbors Café. Additional amenities include a 460 square meter event space and a wellness spa. The design features natural materials, echoing Japanese craftsmanship, and offers skyline views. The hotel aims to blend business, culture, and green space.
