🏨 Preferred Hotels & Resorts expanded its global portfolio with 10 new properties from April 1 to June 30, 2026. Locations include Bali, U.S. Virgin Islands, Kenya, Belgium, Portugal, Italy, Ireland, and the UAE. Highlights: The Botany (U.S. Virgin Islands) with 20 villas, The Meru Sanur (Bali) with 184 suites, Ilora Retreats (Kenya) with 14 tented suites, Via Antwerp (Belgium) with 176 rooms, and MYTHIC SANA (Lisbon) with 48 rooms. Over six million travelers use the I Prefer Hotel Rewards program.

🏨 Viceroy Hotels returns to New York City in December 2026 with Viceroy Park Avenue at Park Avenue South and 29th Street, NoMad. The hotel features 252 rooms, including four presidential suites with sizes up to 2,100 sq ft, and offers a rooftop pool, spa, and 15,000 sq ft of event space. The project is a joint venture with Highgate, Tao Group Hospitality, and BGO. The hotel is designed by Meyer Davis Studio.

🏨 Denver-based Stonebridge has added the JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown to its portfolio after a recent renovation. The 237-room hotel features a rooftop pool, spa, and over 15,000 sq ft of meeting space. Located in downtown Atlanta, it offers access to Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Georgia Aquarium. Upgraded amenities include redesigned rooms and new dining options. Stonebridge aims to enhance profitability through strategic management.

🏖️ Royal Palm South Beach Hotel, located at 1545 Collins Avenue in Miami’s Art Deco District, reopened after a $100 million transformation. Originally built in 1939, the hotel now features 404 guestrooms in three towers and spans 17 stories. Managed by Pivot and owned by Park Hotels and Resorts, it offers 18,000 square feet of event space, a private pool, and direct beach access. Culinary experiences include four dining concepts led by Chef Adrian Colameco.

🏨 Kimpton Suntaya Bali Ubud, IHG’s first Indonesian property, opens later in 2023 at Jalan Bisma. Featuring 101 rooms, including pool suites and villas, it offers five dining venues led by Chef Hirofumi Imamura. Amenities include a fitness studio and Sakshi Spa. Designed by Denton Corker Marshall, the hotel draws on Balinese traditions. General Manager Austin Jones highlights its cultural connection. Kimpton, founded in 1981, expands globally with planned openings in Adelaide, New York, Rotterdam, and Shanghai.

🏨 Crescent Hotels & Resorts has expanded its Hilton-affiliated portfolio by adding the Hilton Short Hills in New Jersey. This 314-room hotel features over 21,000 square feet of event space, including a 5,200-square-foot Grand Ballroom. Located across from The Mall at Short Hills, it is 13 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport. Amenities include indoor/outdoor pools, tennis courts, and a rooftop bar. The hotel serves the community with its dining and event spaces.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts, Pro-invest Group, and Connect Hospitality have unveiled voco Queenstown, completing the transformation from Holiday Inn Express & Suites. Announced in February 2026, this change aligns with IHG's premium brand. The hotel, featuring 227 revamped rooms, aims to meet high-quality accommodation demand. As New Zealand's second voco hotel, it joins others globally, exceeding 100 properties. The redesign includes lobby and dining spaces, enhancing guest experiences in Queenstown.

🏖 Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and J-Will Partners Co., Ltd. plan to open the 165-key Fairmont Niseko in Japan by early 2028. Located on nine acres between Mount Yotei and Mount Annupuri, it offers skiing, golf, and dining near Niseko Village and Hirafu. Daiken Sekkei, Inc. and Steve Leung Design Group lead architectural and interior design. The Hokkaido Shinkansen train extension by 2038 will enhance accessibility. The resort will feature two restaurants, a spa, a kids’ club, and Onsen experiences.
