The hotel features a fitness center and event spaces. The strategy focuses on revenue and profitability through coordinated sales and marketing, catering to leisure, group, and business travelers.

📍 G6 Hospitality and Natson Hotel Group signed an agreement to open 18 Studio 6 Plus properties in the U.S. Development starts this month, with the first openings in 2027. Studio 6 Plus, launched at G6’s convention in April, targets extended stay, with 60-80 rooms, full kitchens, and automated check-ins. Natson, with over 100 properties, currently operates 75 G6 hotels. Extended-stay RevPAR hit $78 in 2024, up 14% from 2019, as demand surged.

🏨 Red Roof is set to open its first Canadian location in Vancouver, British Columbia, by July 1, 2026, in partnership with Richmond Airport Enterprises Ltd. This involves converting the 160-room Travelodge Hotel near Vancouver Airport. The revamped Red Roof PLUS+ will feature a business center, fitness facility, hot tub, and indoor pool. Vancouver was chosen due to its leading hotel market trends and high RevPAR. The property will include modern amenities like 65-inch TVs and free Wi-Fi.

📈 IHG Hotels & Resorts reported a 4.4% global RevPAR growth in Q1 2026, with average daily rate up 2.0% and occupancy up 1.5%. The company's net system size increased by 5.0% year-on-year, totaling 1,036,000 rooms. They opened 82 hotels with 14,900 rooms and signed 163 hotels with 21,400 rooms. IHG also completed $240M of its $950M share buyback program. EMEAA RevPAR grew 5.6%, while the Middle East declined by 2%.

🏨 Nobu Hospitality, in partnership with Woolfox, plans a new development called Nobu Woolfox in Rutland, England, near Stamford. Situated on 185 acres, it will feature lake view rooms, a Nobu restaurant, a spa, and branded residences. This marks Nobu's first countryside property, offering a retreat within 1-2 hours from London, Cambridge, Birmingham, and Manchester. Rutland, near Europe’s large Rutland Water reservoir, provides activities like walking and sailing.

🏨 HQ Hotels & Residences plans to open a $130 million HQ Cas En Bas Resort in Saint Lucia by November 2026. Located in Cap Estate, near Rodney Bay, the development features 96 studios and apartments, with plans for 82 more, totaling 178 units. It’s over 90% sold and will generate up to 300 permanent jobs. The resort will include dining by Michelin-starred Chef Fabio Trabocchi. Operated by Wellington Estates in partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
