🏨 BWH Hotels opened @HOME by Best Western McDonough, a five-story, 128-suite extended-stay hotel in Georgia. Developed by Apsilon Hotels, this marks the brand’s first Southeast location and is strategically chosen for its proximity to the I-75 corridor and regional commerce, including over 80 million square feet of industrial facilities. The hotel features kitchens, workspaces, a fitness center, and pet-friendly options. The global extended-stay pipeline is projected to reach 34 hotels and 2,791 rooms by the end of 2026.

☕ IHG Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Al Ameed Coffee to launch a 50-key Noted Collection hotel in Amman, Jordan. Located on a key gateway corridor to Queen Alia International Airport, the hotel will feature a coffee reserve and experience centre. Launched as IHG’s 21st brand, Noted Collection emphasizes unique hotel experiences. Al Ameed Coffee, a fixture in Jordan's coffee culture for over 50 years, collaborates to integrate local heritage and coffee themes into the hospitality experience.

🏨 YOTEL will open its first hotel in Thailand, YOTEL Bangkok Sukhumvit, on October 15, 2026, in the Cloud 11 development, South Sukhumvit, Bangkok. The hotel features 250 rooms, an outdoor pool, a gym, and Komyuniti, an all-day dining and co-working space. Fatty’s rooftop bar opens in November 2026. Cloud 11, which opened in July 2026, had an investment exceeding THB 20 billion. YOTEL signed an exclusive agreement with Hilton in March 2026, joining Select by Hilton.

🏨 G6 Hospitality has partnered with Kautilya Group for a five-hotel development of Studio 6 Plus in the Northeast, starting with two hotels in Connecticut in Q1 2027. Each hotel will feature 118 guestrooms. Studio 6 Plus was introduced in April 2026, expanding G6's footprint in the extended-stay market. Kautilya Group, active since 2000, enhances its Connecticut presence. G6's pipeline includes 25 hotels, following an 18-property deal with Natson Hotel Group in May.

🏖️ Field & Stream Lodge Co., founded by Starwood Capital Group and AJ Capital Partners, will open two renovated properties in 2028. A 151-room lodge in Bend, Oregon, and a 148-room lodge in Big Bear, California, are planned. The Bend location is near Deschutes River, with access to Mt. Bachelor and Smith Rock, while Big Bear is close to Bear Mountain Resort. Both lodges will focus on outdoor recreation and local design.

🏨 Ennismore and Propreal Capital Partners announced the signing of Mama Shelter Porto, a 120-key hotel debuting in Porto Baixa, Northern Portugal. Set near Avenida dos Aliados, the hotel will feature interiors by Dion & Arles, incorporating Porto’s craftsmanship. It includes social spaces, a restaurant, Mama Plays, and private karaoke rooms. Mama Shelter, founded in Paris, plans openings in Val Thorens, Mexico City, and more. This marks Propreal's second hotel in Porto, aligning with their modern hospitality vision.

🏝️ IHG Hotels & Resorts signed a deal to rebrand the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa into Regent Bora Bora, marking Regent's first venture in French Polynesia. The transformation begins June 1, 2026, with a reopening slated for late 2027. Located on Bora Bora’s lagoon, the 84-villa resort offers overwater experiences, featuring sustainable amenities like a seawater air-conditioning system. The partnership with Pacific Beachcomber spans over 20 years, emphasizing luxury and Polynesian culture.
