🏨 First Hospitality assumed management of the Hyatt House and Hyatt Place Chicago – Medical/University District, their fifth multi-brand hotel, expanding their Chicagoland portfolio to 16 properties. The dual-branded property includes 210 guestrooms and is located in the Illinois Medical District. It marks their ninth historic property. Amenities include apartment-style suites, meeting spaces, and on-site dining. This expansion strengthens their partnership with Murphy Real Estate Services, already operating voco and Holiday Inn Chicago Downtown.

🏨 Jacksonville, Florida—In 2023, Hilton Jacksonville at Mayo Clinic opened its doors, marking the first full-service hotel in the area in nearly 20 years. The 252-room, eight-story hotel is located on the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville Campus. Amenities include 21,000 sq ft of event space, a pool, a fitness center, and Coastal Kitchen restaurant. Built by Concord Hospitality and Whitman Peterson, the hotel aims to serve leisure, corporate, and wellness travelers with Hilton's signature hospitality.

💰 Concord Summit Capital secured a $12.2 million construction loan for a new 124-room ECHO Suites Extended Stay by Wyndham at Chandler Airport Center, Phoenix, Arizona. It's the second ECHO Suites in Arizona financed by Concord Summit for The Sandpiper Group, following last year's project in Peoria. The four-story hotel, near Chandler Municipal Airport, is strategically positioned to meet corporate demand. Concord Summit’s Robert Horton, John Choi, and Connor Martz structured the financing.

📍 White Lodging, a notable hospitality company, has assumed management of The Shepherd Hotel in Clemson, South Carolina. Located near Clemson University, this boutique hotel has been operational for three years and collaborates with the ClemsonLIFE program to offer job training for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The hotel features two dining concepts, Delish Sisters and The Thomas Bar, and includes a rooftop event space with views of Death Valley Stadium and the Blue Ridge Mountains.

🏨 During the 2024-25 fiscal year, Tulsa missed 32 events due to limited accommodations. To address this, a new hotel is planned for completion in 2029, connected to the Arvest Convention Center in downtown Tulsa. Matthews Hospitality, based in Dallas, is leading the project. Local firms, including GH2 Architects and Wallace Design Creative, are involved, prioritizing local jobs and economic growth. The hotel's development aims to boost Tulsa’s economy and its global event hosting capabilities.

🏨 Sonesta Hotel Miraflores opens in Lima, Peru, courtesy of Sonesta International Hotels and GHL Hoteles. 🏨 This 133-room hotel is near Kennedy Park. Sonesta continues its LATAM expansion, renewing a Master Franchise Agreement with GHL till 2034. Sonesta focuses on wellness and local culture, offering pet-friendly rooms, breakfast, a restaurant, and a gym. This is the second Sonesta property in Lima, alongside Sonesta Hotel El Olivar.

🏨 Choice Hotels International plans to add 50 new Quality Suites hotels across France, increasing its portfolio from 57 to 107 properties and adding 4,800 rooms. Locations include Marseille, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Rennes, and smaller towns like Quiberon. The global brand exceeded 150,000 international rooms, with growth in Asia, the Americas, and a partnership in Brazil. The company's direct franchising model in Canada includes 350 hotels, while a China agreement adds 9,500 rooms to the Ascend Collection.

🏨 Peregrine Hospitality opened The Tess in Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood. The 201-room hotel, part of Marriott's Autograph Collection, was formerly the Thompson Atlanta-Buckhead. It features a rooftop restaurant, Tesserae, and one of Atlanta’s only rooftop pools. The Tess offers 17,000 square feet of event space and a Presidential Suite with city views. In 2026, new dining and expanded programming will be introduced to enhance the guest experience.

🏖 Boca Raton Resort in Florida has invested millions in upgrading its beach club with a floating Fiat 500. Eriro lodge in the Austrian Alps offers woolly socks for guests. At Cambodia’s Shinta Mani Wild, guests can check-in via a 1,300-foot zip line. Kenya’s Wild Hill provides art supplies for guests. Indonesia’s Bawah Reserve offers personalized suite plaques. Costa Rica’s Nayara Tented Camp gifts plush sloths. St. Barts’ Eden Rock features various amenities in signature scarlet.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts is expanding voco hotels in Southern Europe with nine new signings and openings in France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Turkey, adding over 1,000 rooms. Notable openings include voco Parma & Congressi with 166 rooms in Italy, voco The 7 – Lisbon with 71 rooms in Portugal, and voco Nantes with 127 rooms in France by 2028. Recent launches are voco Antalya – Konyaaltı in Turkey with 118 rooms and voco Bilbao – City in Spain with 91 rooms.
