🏨 Knowledge Economic City (KEC) and Archipelago International are launching a hospitality management platform and a new Saudi hotel brand in Madinah. The joint venture's first project features a hotel with 2,500 keys, marking one of KEC’s largest assets. KEC spans 6.8 million square meters in Madinah, while Archipelago manages over 45,000 rooms. The hotel will boost employment opportunities and expand through franchise and licensing. Archipelago's partner, Maison Privee, will enhance short-stay services in Madinah.

💼 Extended Stay America has opened its first hotel in Yuma, Arizona, a 124-room, four-story property. The hotel, developed by Armadale Holdings LP, offers amenities for extended stays, such as fully equipped kitchens and free Wi-Fi. Located near the Rio Vista Commerce Center and Yuma Regional Medical Center, it targets healthcare professionals, government personnel, and business travelers. This marks a strategic expansion for the brand, which has been the fastest-growing midscale extended-stay chain since 2021.

🏨 Hilton Los Angeles Airport is undergoing a $50-million renovation, refreshing all 1,234 guestrooms. Located near LAX and key venues, the project aims to be ready for major events like the 2026 FIFA World Cup, 2027 Super Bowl, and 2028 Olympics. The redesign includes two-queen-bed setups, modern furnishings, and enhanced connectivity. Some floors are already open, and the renovation will conclude by June 2026, catering to a diverse array of travelers.

🏨 Accor's Emblems Collection debuts at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa in the UK, set in the British Cotswolds. The estate features 42 rooms, nine cottages, two restaurants, and a spa. In 2026, expansions include Canada, Italy, and Puglia. By 2027, new openings in Greece and Italy will add 80 rooms and a 500-square-meter spa. Accor plans seven more properties in Europe and the Americas, with over 15 projects in the works globally.

🏨 Hilton has launched Spark by Hilton Ponce, its first Spark hotel in the Caribbean and Latin America, located in Puerto Rico's second-largest city, Ponce. The 120-room hotel, owned by Ponce Resorts Inc. and managed by HI Development P.R. Corp., offers complimentary breakfast, free parking, and event space for up to 120 people. It is situated three miles from Mercedita International Airport. Spark by Hilton has over 200 hotels globally and plans to double its presence in Puerto Rico within four years.

🌍 Viceroy Hotels expands into Africa by opening three safari lodges: Thorntree River Lodge and Lolebezi in Zambia, and Atzaró Okavango Camp in Botswana. Located in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and Lower Zambezi National Park, with access to Victoria Falls and Okavango Delta, offering wildlife safaris and cultural experiences. Accommodations feature private plunge pools, spas, and yoga decks. Arash Azarbarzin, CEO, highlights this as a milestone in Viceroy’s global growth.

🏨 The Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino completed a renovation of 414 guestrooms and suites from spring to December 2025 on Palm Beach. The redesign includes neutral tones, coastal accents, and new furnishings. The Mandara Spa, with its 6,500 square feet and 12 treatment rooms, was also updated. The resort features a family-friendly pool, adults-only pool, spa, casino, and 10 restaurants. Raoul Lemmerling, the general manager, expressed excitement about the upgrades.

🏠 In 2025, the Conrad Bahrain hotel emerges in Bahrain, transformed by LW Design from a residential tower into a modern luxury hotel. This project embraces cultural depth, artistic expression, and material honesty, featuring expansive guest rooms, a rooftop pool, and a whisky and cigar bar. The design promotes individuality and genuine expression, combining regional artworks and handcrafted objects with contemporary aesthetics to create a sophisticated and culturally rich atmosphere.
