🏨 Crestline Hotels & Resorts took over management of the Hampton Inn & Suites Scottsdale at Talking Stick, Arizona, on October 1, 2025. The hotel includes 101 rooms and suites, 676 sq. ft. of meeting space for up to 60 people, and features like an outdoor pool and fitness center. Located off Loop 101, it’s near attractions such as the Talking Stick Resort and Salt River Fields. Complimentary breakfast and pet-friendly accommodations are available.

🏨 a&o Hostels expands to London by acquiring the former DoubleTree by Hilton Docklands Riverside, marking its first London opening and third UK location. Set to open in November, the hotel features 500 rooms and 2,100 beds. A £21 million refurbishment starts January 2026. Located in Southwark, it offers a free electric river cab to Canary Wharf. Founded in 2000, a&o operates 44 properties in 30 cities. In 2024, they hosted 2.8 million guests.

🏨 Hilton, October 2025, Texas: 9,000th hotel opens—Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa, featuring 496 rooms, 34 villas, and an adults-only floor. Hilton, with only 5% of global rooms but 21% under construction, plans growth in India, Africa, Saudi Arabia, and Asia Pacific. The U.S. hosts 6,000 hotels, Canada 200, and Italy 100, with 3,600 more globally under development, highlighting Hilton's robust expansion strategy.

🏨 A&O Hostels has acquired the former DoubleTree by Hilton, Docklands Riverside, marking its first London property and third in the UK. Opening under the A&O flag in November, the hotel features 500 rooms, 2,100 beds, and will undergo a £21m refurbishment while remaining open. Guests benefit from free electric river cab service to Canary Wharf. A €500m (£436m) budget is set for property upgrades starting Spring 2024, in partnership with StepStone Group and Proprium Capital Partners.

🍹 Anise, located in Devonshire Square near Liverpool Street, reopened in September 2025 after a full renovation. Bar Manager Piyush Gouchwal collaborated with mixologist Ryan Chetiyawardana on an innovative cocktail menu, blending Indian spices with local botanicals. The bar offers both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, including the City of Colour and Keralan Sunset. Chef Vivek Singh's menu includes Indian-inspired bar bites like Mumbai chilli cheese toastie. The bar operates Monday to Saturday, 3 pm to midnight.

🏨 AMANO Group, a German boutique hotel brand, acquired Waterman House at 41 Kingsway, London, on September 29. Formerly an office, this property will become a 70-room hotel, revitalizing a vacant 25,000 sq ft building. Located near Hotel AMANO Covent Garden, this £20m acquisition brings AMANO’s London investments to £150m. The group aims to replicate its Covent Garden success, which boasts over 90% occupancy. Waterman House redevelopment expects streamlined operations with existing hotels.

🍴 Kwame Onwuachi joined Las’ Lap's team for their new Miami Beach location, opened on August 5 at the Daydrift Hotel. This is the brand's first expansion outside New York, serving Caribbean cuisine like jerk chicken and codfish fritters. The 3,000-square-foot space features an extensive rum selection and cocktails with island ingredients. The intimate design includes a rooftop bar and a lush patio. Onwuachi's Afro-Caribbean menu honors his Creole, Nigerian, Jamaican, and Trinidadian heritage.

📈 The Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas underwent a major renovation in 2024, involving its 2,520 rooms and casino. A $176.5 million CPACE loan, one of the largest, financed the upgrades. This financing closed in under 60 days, showcasing CPACE's speed and efficiency. Private credit, a $1.5 trillion market, offers loan-to-value ratios up to 75% compared to 50-55% from banks. With 35% of hotel loans maturing in 2025 at risk, CPACE and private credit are crucial.

🏞 Marriott launched its Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy in Bethesda, Maryland, focusing on outdoor stays, with over 1,200 cabins in 29 U.S. locations and Trailborn Hotels in destinations like the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors platform offers access to 450+ hotels, 50,000 Homes & Villas, and curated tours.
