Meliá unveils a third Paradisus location in the Canary Islands
🏨 Originally built in 1978 as Hotel Los Gorriones, Fuerteventura's landmark underwent a €32 million renovation, rebranding as Paradisus Fuerteventura. The transformation doubled the staff to 320, with added focus on social inclusion. The now five-star resort boasts 363 luxury rooms, four pools, and nine restaurants, including Mahos led by Michelin-starred Chef Germán Ortega. Part of Meliá Hotels' expansion, it emphasizes local culture and sustainability, with plans to convert a nearby property into Zel Fuerteventura by 2026.
