🛑 Travelodge opened a new 72-room hotel in Beckenham, London, part of a six-story redevelopment by Dunward Properties. This hotel features modern designs and created 14 jobs. Travelodge now operates over 80 hotels in London and recently opened another 68-room hotel in Harwich, Essex. The Harwich site includes drive-thrus and EV charging points. Travelodge has 630 hotels and 47,000 rooms in the UK, Ireland, and Spain, with 65% of rooms upgraded to the new design.

🏨 Located in Vienna's diplomatic quarter, the Hotel Savoyen Vienna will transform into a Sheraton, featuring 310 rooms and 1,000-square-metre ballroom. The renovation is part of a partnership between MHP Hotel AG, Mechelgasse 1 GmbH, and Marriott International. MHP aims to enhance its Austrian presence, with expected revenue of €180 million this fiscal year. The redesign targets business and conference travelers, leveraging Vienna's dynamic tourism growth. BWM Designers & Architects will lead the design efforts.

📍 Facing the Aisne-Marne Canal, Hyatt Centric Reims offers direct access to Reims' cultural landmarks, like Notre-Dame Cathedral and several Champagne Houses. The hotel has 155 guestrooms, a restaurant called Le Néo, eight meeting rooms, and a bar with an extensive Champagne selection. It reflects the character of the Champagne region with vineyard-inspired interiors. This is the first Hyatt Centric in France, providing personalized experiences as highlighted by Nicolas Benfodda, General Manager.

🏨 Whitbread plans to start converting Verity House, South Bank, Leeds, into a Premier Inn in early 2026, with completion in spring 2027. Acquired in October 2024, this 44,000 sq ft project will bring £5.5 million in annual visitor spending, benefiting local businesses. It will join existing Leeds Premier Inns, and a 143-room project is also underway at Harewood Quarter. Whitbread aims for 125,000 UK rooms, emphasizing sustainability with 100% renewable electricity by 2025.

🏨 By 2030, TRIBE aims to have 100 hotels in Europe, with 60 already open or in development. These hotels serve as hybrid spaces for sleeping, working, and socializing, featuring “Social Hubs” open all day. Located in prime areas like capital and cultural cities, TRIBE's flexible model includes new builds and conversions, supported by the Accor group for distribution and purchasing. Catering, emphasized through drinks and events, boosts both attraction and profitability.

🍴 Chelsea Grill opens on 18th November on King’s Road, Chelsea. Chef Anton Vasilyev leads the kitchen, offering a menu centered on fire and smoke. The restaurant showcases UK and European sourced meats, day-boat seafood, dry-aged fish, and more, with pastries by sous-chef Tyler Jennifer. Bar manager Mickey Robinson introduces cocktails such as the Green Apple Gimlet. Open Tuesday to Saturday for dinner, with weekend lunch soon. Reservations via their website.

🏨 Homewood Suites by Hilton Columbus Polaris completed a $2.4 million renovation in Columbus, Ohio, after a five-month project led by Ivy Hospitality. The 92-room hotel upgraded guestrooms, lobby, dining area, lounge, fitness center, and outdoor furniture. Enhancements include new light fixtures, headboards, mattresses, artwork, and bathroom vanity lights. Tommy Holmes, CEO of Ivy Hospitality, expressed pride in the community partnership, while General Manager Bhaveen Patel emphasized commitment to guest satisfaction. Amenities include free hot breakfast, WiFi, and a 24-hour business center.

📍 NCG Hospitality broke ground on Moxy Glendale, a five-story, 153-room hotel in Glendale, Arizona, slated to open in Summer 2027. The project is in partnership with Porter Brothers Construction and PK Architects, with interior design by The Society. The design reflects the Sonoran Desert, featuring private cabana suites and a resort-style pool with a walk-up bar. This addition joins NCG's existing three-hotel campus in Glendale, emphasizing design and community.

🏨 Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of Candlewood Suites Miami Lakes, a 94-room hotel in Miami Lakes, Florida, in December 2024. Originally built in 1999 and renovated in 2024, it features suites with kitchens, a fitness facility, and more. Situated off Interstate 75, it provides access to key locations like Miami Lakes Research & Industrial Park and Miami International Airport. The sale reflects confidence in Miami-Dade's hospitality sector.
