📍 W Hotels reopened its New York Union Square property after a $100 million renovation of the 256-room Beaux-Arts building, originally completed in 1911. Rockwell Group led the redesign, including guest rooms, a new lobby, a rooftop bar, and a 1,215 sq ft penthouse. Wellness facilities now feature Peloton equipment. Seahorse restaurant, opening later this autumn, will be led by chef John Villa. Marriott Bonvoy aims for 80% of W Hotels' global portfolio renovations by 2028.

🏨 Kimpton, part of IHG’s luxury portfolio, plans to open a hotel in Napa Valley, California, in 2028, joining 10 other properties in the state. The hotel will be located on First Street and the Napa River, featuring 123 guestrooms in two four-story buildings. Guests can enjoy amenities like a rooftop bar, garden patio, and outdoor spa. Stratus Development Partners owns this property, marking its first IHG hotel. Napa Valley attracts over 4 million visitors annually.

🏨 Sutton Hotel Collection will invest £9.5 million in refurbishing Castle Hotel Windsor, starting November 2025, completing in 2026. The multi-phase project includes a full makeover of all 108 rooms, a redesign of the ground floor, and a new British brasserie. The team is set to grow, aiming to enhance guest services for the 12 million tourists visiting Windsor annually. Located in central Windsor, the hotel offers a conference center accommodating up to 400 delegates.

🏨 In September 2025, the Grange Hotel in Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria, reopened after a multi-million-pound refurbishment. Located opposite the railway station, it now offers 56 bedrooms, including family and dog-friendly rooms, and two penthouse suites. The hotel can host events for up to 200 guests and features wellness facilities, such as a pool, sauna, and spa. General Manager Sam Gombos emphasized preserving its Edwardian heritage while modernizing the space.

🏨 Supercity Aparthotels opened a new 63-suite aparthotel named The Jubilee in Leeds city centre this week. Located on The Headrow, it occupies a converted Grade II-listed building. The Jubilee caters to business travellers and visitors, offering studio and one-bedroom suites with kitchens and living areas. This addition expands Supercity's presence in cities like London, Manchester, Brighton, and Edinburgh, with a York site due later this year.

🏨 Dominus plans to convert a telephone exchange at 123 Judd Street, Camden, into a 240-room hotel, designed by Stiff + Trevillion. The ground floor will open to a restaurant, café, and bar. Dominus aims to retain much of the original structure, creating over 100 permanent jobs and 99 construction roles. An on-site Camden Hospitality Academy, in collaboration with The Springboard Charity and Hilton, will offer training and work opportunities for locals.

🏨 Hotel Indigo Gatlinburg Downtown, owned by Viral 24 LLC, has opened as IHG Hotels & Resorts' 175th Indigo property. Located near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, it features 136 rooms and the market's largest rooftop experience. Amenities include a heated infinity pool, Altitude Restaurant and Rooftop Bar, and a fitness center. The hotel offers 9,300 sq. ft. of event space and is dog-friendly, allowing two dogs up to 100 lbs per room.

🏖️ In May 2025, Crystal Creek Capital launched the Mountain Modern Sedona in Sedona, Arizona, transforming the former Sedona Real Inn & Suites. This 89-room hotel, including oversized guestrooms, studios, and suites, features an outdoor pool, hot tub, and The Den, a restaurant-social hub. Located across eight buildings, it serves as a basecamp for outdoor enthusiasts with amenities like a bike repair station and gear walls. 🏨 Noble Investment Group and Marriott International announced their 10th StudioRes hotel groundbreaking in Atlanta, Georgia. The StudioRes brand is aimed at extended-stay guests, with about 50 projects in the pipeline and half under construction. The partnership leverages Marriott's 248 million Bonvoy members to capture the growing demand in the long-term accommodations sector. The first StudioRes recently opened in Fort Myers, Florida, marking an expansion in this undersupplied market.
