🏨 BONITA SPRINGS, Florida—Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa announced a multimillion-dollar renovation of its meeting and event spaces. The resort features 82,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor space, including the 14,000 sq. ft. Calusa Ballroom. The renovation included new carpet, lighting, and redesigned outdoor areas. The project added digital signage and revitalized restrooms. Enhancements aimed at providing modern, coastal-inspired aesthetics were led by Rhett Wilson, Director of Sales and Marketing.

🏔 Mama Shelter, part of Accor via Ennismore, is opening its first mountain hotel in Val Thorens, Europe's highest ski resort, by autumn 2027. Located on the Cairn Plateau at 2,100m, it will feature 148 rooms, a spa, a cinema, and a 350-bed capacity. This all-inclusive multi-night stay model marks the brand's shift from urban settings. The project, supported by Vista, Galata, and Cogeco, aims to boost Val Thorens' year-round tourism. Another similar project is planned for Marrakech in 2027.

🏨 Hilton plans to open The Derby London City, part of the Curio Collection, in February 2026 in London’s financial district. This 234-room hotel, including 15 suites, is owned by Dominus and designed with AvroKO to blend British heritage with modern style. Located on Great Tower Street, it features Rycrofte’s restaurant, private dining, meeting rooms, and a 24-hour gym. Monthly Mercer’s Market events will highlight local artists, enhancing the hotel’s cultural offerings.

🏨 Hyatt Hotels Corp. plans to open Andaz Hong Kong Central in 2027 at 118 Wellington Street in Central. The hotel will have 125 guestrooms and suites, a fitness center, and Andaz Village retail hub. Situated in Hong Kong's business district, it aims to blend luxury with local culture. The project is part of Central Crossing, involving Wing Tai Properties and CSI Properties. This venture is part of Hyatt’s expansion in Asia Pacific, including upcoming hotels in Shanghai, Bangkok, and Gold Coast.

🌎 Davidson Hospitality Group has expanded into Europe, adding Ragdale Hall Spa in Leicestershire, UK, to its portfolio. Ragdale Hall Spa spans 13 acres, with 93 rooms and suites, featuring 11,400 sq ft of spa facilities, six indoor pools, and four restaurants. Awarded Best Spa for Wellness 2025, this adults-only retreat focuses on wellness. Davidson manages 84 hotels globally. The group plans further expansion in Europe, targeting upscale and luxury hotels, mirroring its US growth strategy.

🍴 This November, SOOM, a new Korean BBQ restaurant by the creators of 3KOBROS, opens at 99 St Martin’s Lane, London. Guests can savor premium meats and Korean dishes, including vegetarian, vegan, and halal options. Designed with traditional Korean aesthetics, SOOM features a 12-seat centerpiece table, a ground floor bar, and private dining spaces. A soft launch will offer 25% off food for early visitors.

🎄 Wynyard Hall is hosting Christmas events from November 21-23, featuring a Christmas Fayre with artisan stalls and festive food. Part of a Midstad-led redevelopment, it adds to IHG's 210 hotels open and 63 in development across the DACH region. Salzburg, Austria's second-largest hospitality market, presents a strategic opportunity for Kimpton.

Located on the Salzach River, the 119-room hotel will feature 11 suites with river and castle views, a fitness center, and meeting spaces. This development is part of a larger project by Midstad. IHG's DACH region portfolio exceeds 5,000 rooms, with 14 hotels in Austria and five more planned.

🏨 Rosewood Hotel Group is transforming its brand, focusing on cultural connection and personal experiences. By 2023, they are enhancing guest engagement at 41 locations, such as marine ecology at Rosewood Miyakojima, Japan, and indigenous healing in Mexico. New properties include Rosewood Courchevel opening in December, and Rosewood Blue Palace in Crete by 2026.
