🏨 Vision Hospitality Group opened the Embassy Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Downtown, a seven-story hotel with 184 suites, in the riverfront district of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Featuring a rooftop restaurant, street-level dining, and 3,000 square feet of meeting space, this marks Vision’s 15th hotel in Chattanooga and 44th nationwide. Partnering with SquareOne Holdings for food operations, Vision continues expanding across the Southeast.

🏨 Palais Rudolf, located in Vienna’s Old Town, is the brand’s fifth hotel launch in 16 months. Overlooking Rudolfspark, it features 64 rooms, including two suites. The design was led by James Thurstan, with Gabriel Kacerovsky supervising execution. Managed by Dirk-Jan Doek, the hotel offers diverse dining options and is close to landmarks like the Vienna State Opera. The brand also debuted in London with Templeton Garden, following previous openings in Paris, Barcelona, and Gstaad.

🏨 Q2 2025 saw a record-high 15,871 hotel construction projects worldwide, including 2,436,225 rooms, a 3% increase YOY. The U.S. and China dominated with 6,280 and 3,733 projects respectively, representing 64% of global activity. Dallas led cities with 199 projects. 970 new hotels opened in the first half of 2025, with 1,884 more expected by year-end. By 2026, 2,531 new hotels are forecasted, and 2,554 in 2027. Upper midscale and upscale chains held 52% of projects.

🍴 Marco Pierre White Restaurants will open a new restaurant, 'Mr White’s', in South Shields, North-East, in October 2025. The 50-cover restaurant will be located in the Mill Dam area, managed by Craig and Sarah Shelmerdine, creating over 10 jobs. The menu features steaks, seafood, and cocktails. Darren Coslett-Blaize, Brand Director, highlights the strategic timing during the area’s regeneration. Despite industry challenges, the restaurant offers an affordable dining experience in a charming setting.

🏨 Palé Hall Hotel, a five-star retreat in North Wales, introduces new immersive experiences this autumn. Guests can enjoy pottery workshops, wine tastings, and clay pigeon shooting. The Hearth private dining room hosts seasonal tasting menus, while a new Fitness Studio and Treatment Rooms launch in September. October sees the opening of the Whisky & Cigar Lounge. These offerings aim to enhance guest experiences within the estate's historic setting, aligning with the owners' vision for expansion and refinement.

🏖️ Wimberly Interiors unveiled the Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort in 2025, transforming the former Hyatt Regency Gainey Ranch in Arizona. The resort offers nearly 500 accommodations, including a new 12,000-square-foot ballroom, and features art, local materials, and a wellness-focused design. Culinary highlights include two restaurants by chef Richard Blais, La Zozzona and Tiki Taka, offering Italian-American and Spanish-Japanese cuisines. The resort's design reflects Arizona's culture and desert environment.
