🍖 May 12, 2025, Dallas: Ten50 BBQ launched its second restaurant in the Devonshire neighborhood, downsizing from its original 13,000 to 3,300 sq ft. Cofounder Preston Evans achieved a personal dream, opening on West Lovers Lane. The new location retains classic menu items like USDA Prime brisket and Duroc pork ribs, but adds new sandwiches and salads. Its open kitchen offers a direct-to-table service model. A full bar and hand-crafted design enhance the dining experience. Plans for expansion in Dallas-Fort Worth are underway.

🌳 In late 2025, Ubuyu, A Banyan Tree Escape, opens in Ruaha National Park, Tanzania's Iringa region. This eco-luxury safari retreat offers six artisan-crafted villas with solar power, featuring private pools and inspired by Maasai dwellings. Ruaha National Park hosts Africa's largest elephant population, the highest lion concentration, and over 570 bird species. Guests can access the park via air from Dar es Salaam, Arusha, and Zanzibar. Rates start at $2,000 per night.

📍 Seattle, Washington—June 2025: Courtyard by Marriott Spokane Downtown Convention Center underwent a total renovation by InnVentures and BHG Hotels. The hotel, located in Spokane’s downtown, features 149 renovated guestrooms, an updated facade, enhanced lighting, new landscaping, an expanded fitness center, and upgraded lobby and restaurant areas. The Bistro offers breakfast with Starbucks beverages and dinner with bar service. Positioned less than a mile from Riverfront Park, it aims to attract modern business travelers.

🏖 MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina—In June 2025, voco The Shelby – Myrtle Beach opened as the first voco hotel by IHG in South Carolina, named after the famous local, Shelby Ann Byrd. The hotel features 241 guestrooms, live music on weekends, and The Palm & Pebble restaurant with a daily happy hour from 4–7 p.m. It offers over 1,300 sq ft of event space with ocean views and is located near the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk.

🏨 Aliée Istanbul offers 122 uniquely designed rooms across four buildings, merging Istanbul's cultural heritage with modern elegance. Dining includes the Living Room, Little House, and Taste by Thomas Bühner, led by a three-Michelin-star chef. Wellness amenities cover 4,000 square meters with hammams and pools. 🏨 The Novotel Berlin Am Tiergarten is undergoing an 18-month renovation to become Clayton Hotel, featuring a restaurant, bar, meeting center, sauna, and gym. Located on Straße des 17. Juni, it's near attractions like the Brandenburg Gate. Dalata Hotel Group, with a 25-year lease, will achieve BREEAM Very Good certification. 🏨 Scandic Go is opening a hotel in Turku in 2026, renovating part of the former Scandic Atrium. Renovation starts in August 2025. The location is near Turku's harbor and university, close to the Market Square. Scandic plans to meet the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and expand in Oulu and Helsinki. In Tromsø, Norway, Scandic added 305 rooms with The Dock 69°39, and further expansions are planned in key Nordic cities, including Uppsala, Sälen, Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Umeå.

🏠 **B&B Home's Expansion**: In 2024, B&B Hotels launched B&B Home, an extended-stay concept, adding a 105-apartment hotel residence in Caen, France. This property, in partnership with Sas City O, is located in Caen's city center, along the River Orne. Accommodations range from 35 to 110 m², catering to tourists and business travelers. Emphasizing community and sustainability, B&B Home features shared spaces and eco-friendly practices, supporting flexible stays with kitchenettes and communal cooking facilities.
