🏨 In September 2025, the Grange Hotel in Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria, reopened after a multi-million-pound refurbishment. Located opposite the railway station, it now offers 56 bedrooms, including family and dog-friendly rooms, and two penthouse suites. The hotel can host events for up to 200 guests and features wellness facilities, such as a pool, sauna, and spa. General Manager Sam Gombos emphasized preserving its Edwardian heritage while modernizing the space.

🏨 Supercity Aparthotels opened a new 63-suite aparthotel named The Jubilee in Leeds city centre this week. Located on The Headrow, it occupies a converted Grade II-listed building. The Jubilee caters to business travellers and visitors, offering studio and one-bedroom suites with kitchens and living areas. This addition expands Supercity's presence in cities like London, Manchester, Brighton, and Edinburgh, with a York site due later this year.

🏨 Dominus plans to convert a telephone exchange at 123 Judd Street, Camden, into a 240-room hotel, designed by Stiff + Trevillion. The ground floor will open to a restaurant, café, and bar. Dominus aims to retain much of the original structure, creating over 100 permanent jobs and 99 construction roles. An on-site Camden Hospitality Academy, in collaboration with The Springboard Charity and Hilton, will offer training and work opportunities for locals.

🏨 Hotel Indigo Gatlinburg Downtown, owned by Viral 24 LLC, has opened as IHG Hotels & Resorts' 175th Indigo property. Located near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, it features 136 rooms and the market's largest rooftop experience. Amenities include a heated infinity pool, Altitude Restaurant and Rooftop Bar, and a fitness center. The hotel offers 9,300 sq. ft. of event space and is dog-friendly, allowing two dogs up to 100 lbs per room.

☕ Hilton Anaheim, California, has unveiled its newly renovated Starbucks as part of Starbucks' Green Apron Service initiative. This design, featuring wood tones, open sight lines, and natural light, aligns with Hilton Anaheim's broader renovation. Sergio Bocci, the hotel's general manager, highlighted its strategic location near the Anaheim Convention Center. The renovation emphasizes convenience and quality for travelers. Future enhancements include Mobile Order & Pay. Ana Cordero from Starbucks emphasized the space's value for guests and locals.

🏖️ In May 2025, Crystal Creek Capital launched the Mountain Modern Sedona in Sedona, Arizona, transforming the former Sedona Real Inn & Suites. This 89-room hotel, including oversized guestrooms, studios, and suites, features an outdoor pool, hot tub, and The Den, a restaurant-social hub. Located across eight buildings, it serves as a basecamp for outdoor enthusiasts with amenities like a bike repair station and gear walls. The hotel’s interiors are adorned with Ryan Sheets' nature photography.

🏠 Bob W expands to Stockholm’s Gamla Stan district with a 33-unit apartment property near the Royal Palace. The Old Town Stay Hotel, now under Bob W, is undergoing refurbishment for studio and one-bedroom apartments. This follows Bob W's recent launch in Stockholm Norrmalm, marking its second city location. Operating 5,000+ units in 19 cities across 11 countries, Bob W focuses on sustainable, tech-enabled conversions. Plans to be showcased at Expo Real, Munich, from October 6-8.

🏨 Marriott International plans to open Fairfield by Marriott in Tainan Science Park by 2029, marking its first presence in this key Taiwanese industrial hub. Sing Song Chien Limited, the developer, will build a 160-room, four-star hotel aimed at business and long-stay travelers. This will be the first international branded hotel in the area. PKF hospitality group provided advisory support, emphasizing the alignment of interests between stakeholders. The hotel will offer modern comfort and connectivity for professionals.

🏨 Noble Investment Group and Marriott International have broken ground on their 10th StudioRes hotel, marking growth in Marriott's extended stay brand. StudioRes is built for long-term guests, offering quick build and operation. The brand leverages Marriott’s 248 million Bonvoy members. Rising workforce mobility boosts demand for extended-stay hospitality. The first StudioRes opened in Fort Myers, Florida, with over 50 projects signed and half under construction.
