IHG bringing Kimpton brand to Salzburg, Austria

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with tristar Austria GmbH, will open Kimpton Salzburg in mid-2028, marking the brand's debut in Austria. Located on the Salzach River, the 119-room hotel will feature 11 suites with river and castle views, a fitness center, and meeting spaces. This development is part of a larger project by Midstad. IHG's DACH region portfolio exceeds 5,000 rooms, with 14 hotels in Austria and five more planned.

Hotel Glorieta Rises Anew on the Hills of Santa Fe

Accor lifts profit guidance and announces €100m share buyback

💰 Accor upgraded its 2025 EBITDA forecast to 11%-12%, up from 9%-10%, thanks to resilient Q3 performance. The group, with over 5,700 hotels, reported a 3.1% revenue rise in management and franchise. Q3 revenue was €1.37bn, with luxury rising 0.2% and midscale falling 1.1%. RevPAR in Europe/North Africa dropped 4.6%, while the Americas grew 7.1%, and the Middle East/Africa/Asia-Pacific rose 2.7%. Accor opened 77 hotels, adding 11,200 rooms, and plans a €100m share buyback.

IHG reports steady RevPAR and stronger development pace in Q3

📈 IHG Group reported a 0.1% rise in RevPAR for Q3 ending September 30, 2025. Global RevPAR increased by 1.4% year-to-date. Regional RevPAR grew 0.8% in the Americas, 3.8% in EMEAA, but fell 2.6% in Greater China. Global rooms revenue rose 4%, despite a 2% dip in leisure and 4% in group bookings. IHG opened 99 hotels (14,500 rooms) and signed 170 hotels (22,600 rooms) this quarter. The company has completed $700m of its $900m share buyback program.
