Radisson surpasses 210 signings and openings in 2025

🏨 Radisson Hotel Group announced 210+ hotel signings and openings in 2025 across EMEA and APAC. In Europe, new properties will open in Manchester and London, with Radisson Blu expanding in Paris, France, Germany, Türkiye, and Montenegro. In China, 130 hotels have opened this year. Radisson surpassed 200 hotels in India. Radisson Red expanded in Oslo, UAE, India, and Thailand, focusing on sustainability with the second Verified Net Zero hotel in Oslo.

Kirklees Council approves revised plans for George Hotel redevelopment

The dual-branded development offers 91 rooms at Shangri-La and 520 at Traders, both connected to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and the high-speed rail. Traders features quick check-in/out and smart tech like luggage robots. Nearly 3,000 sqm of event space is available, reflecting a "luxury + efficiency" strategy.

Caledonian Edinburgh reopens Caley Bar as new listening venue

Hyatt reveals plans to open Andaz Hiroshima in 2027

🏨 Hyatt Hotels Corporation will open the Andaz Hiroshima in 2027 through a management agreement with Takenaka Corporation. Located in central Hiroshima, the hotel will occupy the 21st to 31st floors of a high-rise building. It will feature 235 guest rooms and suites, restaurants, a rooftop bar, a fitness center with an indoor pool, and event spaces. This will be the second Andaz hotel in Japan, following the Tokyo location.

Hilton to open Conrad Corfu in 2026

Sonesta adds 18 hotels through Laxmi Hotels partnership

🏨 Sonesta International Hotels Corporation has expanded its portfolio by adding 18 hotels through a partnership with Laxmi Hotels Group. By the end of September, all properties transitioned to the Sonesta Select brand. This is part of Sonesta's strategy announced in 2024 to sell 113 managed hotels, adding 14,803 rooms across 28 states. The 18 new hotels are located in Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Tennessee, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania.
