🏨 Steigenberger Hotels GmbH has reopened the Europäischer Hof in Baden-Baden, reconnecting with its origins. The hotel, part of the Steigenberger Icon collection, features 126 rooms, 7 long-stay apartments, and a 1,300 square meter Vault Spa. Guests can enjoy three culinary venues and five multifunctional conference rooms. Located opposite the Kurhaus and casino, it also houses Germany's first Porsche Studio. This marks a new era for luxury in Baden-Baden.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts will open Holiday Inn Resort Bodrum West Beach in Türkiye in mid-2026. Located near Turgutreis Marina, the 460-room resort will offer amenities like a large pool, spa, and conference area, enhancing IHG's 33 open and 17 pipeline hotels in Türkiye. The collaboration with Uslu Turizm reflects strategic growth in the leisure segment, offering access to local attractions and nearby Greek Islands, enhancing Bodrum's tourism appeal.

🏨 Hyatt opened its first hotel in Estonia and the Baltic States on August 1, 2025. Located in Tallinn's port district, Hyatt Place Tallinn offers 169 rooms with Nordic design. Amenities include the Zoom restaurant, 6 Cocktails panoramic bar, and a 24-hour fitness center. The hotel features an 83 m² conference room. Executive chef Alexander Kaiser focuses on local cuisine. 🏨 TRIBE, expanding in Europe, plans new hotels in Paris, Budapest, Montpellier, and Reims. TRIBE Paris Pantin opens in June 2025, featuring 131 rooms and a social hub. 🍴 In late June 2025, Stephan Courseau and Daniele Garcia of Travis Street Hospitality opened Frenchie, a 150-seat, 4,000-square-foot brasserie in Preston Center Plaza, Dallas. This marks their first venture outside the Knox-Henderson area. The menu, directed by Bruno Davaillon, features French bistro classics, while the bar serves cocktails and French wines. Frenchie plans to extend its hours for breakfast. The founders aim to open more locations in similar neighborhoods, blending French and American dining styles.

📍 Vandelay Hospitality Group will open its ninth Hudson House restaurant on August 6 in Frisco, Texas. This marks its seventh location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The original Hudson House launched in Highland Park, Texas, in 2017. Known for its signature cheeseburger and “World’s Coldest Martini,” the new location will feature leather booths, a wraparound bar, and outdoor patio. Vandelay operates 21 restaurants, including Drake’s Hollywood and Anchor Sushi Bar.

🍝 Emilia’s Crafted Pasta is opening its 5th restaurant on 7th August on Victoria Street, near Victoria Station, Westminster. This flagship is their largest project, with 100 seats—70 indoors, 30 outdoors (opening in 2026). Founded by Andrew Macleod, who started his journey 9 years ago in East London, the restaurant offers fresh, natural pasta like Casarecce Truffled Cacio e pepe and Béchamel Bolognese. It features a bar inspired by early 20th century Italian design.

🏨 Global design studio WATG and Wimberly Interiors unveil Hotel Wuxi MGallery Collection in Dangkou Ancient Town, a design inspired by local architecture. The hotel features traditional north-south orientations, tranquil courtyards, and arched bridges. Influenced by scholar Hua Tai Shi, interiors reflect a scholarly library vibe. The Tree Canopy restaurant offers cooking classes. A Cultural Hub includes a classroom and bookstore. This blend of history and luxury sets a new standard for immersive hospitality in China.

🏨 Accor and Meliá posted strong results for H1 2025. Accor saw a 4.6% RevPAR increase and €552 million in EBITDA, with 117 new hotels. Meliá's RevPAR rose 4.7%, with revenue at €991.1 million and bank expenses down 40.2%. Meliá added 11 hotels and signed 20 contracts, planning 30-40 more by 2025. Accor's ENA region grew by 3.3%, while Meliá's luxury segment contributed 30% of 2024 revenue. Both groups are expanding despite challenges.
