Studio &Space renovates 1930s Amsterdam home with “iconic spiral staircase”

🏠 Dutch firm Studio &Space revamped a 275-square-metre 1930s home in Amsterdam Zuid for a female couple and their two children. The extensive renovation retained original features like stained glass and arched doorways while adding modern amenities such as a gym and sauna. The design blends aged brass, warm wood, and natural stone inspired by luxury hotels. Notable updates include a new attic-level extension and bespoke interiors, maintaining the home's historical charm.

PJ Clarke’s team to open Rockwell & Rose steak-seafood concept

🍴 The Clarke's Group will open a new steakhouse and seafood restaurant, Rockwell & Rose, on October 8 in Philadelphia, opposite Independence Hall. The restaurant will seat 146, with distinct dining areas, and feature a bar with eight taps. Menu highlights include jumbo lump crab cakes and “Freedom From Want.” The venue ties to historical figures and themes, such as Rosie the Riveter and the former Rockwell Museum, in its design and naming.

Numa opens a new property in Hamburg

The group, expanding its European presence, recently opened its first UK property in Brighton and appointed five new managing directors.

Mid-century Warsaw apartment renovated to “draw on its architectural context”

🏠 Dawid Konieczny redesigned a 55-square-meter Warsaw apartment, originally built in the 1950s by Jerzy Gieysztor and Jerzy Kumelowski. Located in Warsaw's Praga district, the apartment features Alpi veneer and honey-colored oak parquet. Konieczny reconfigured the spaces, including a new west-facing bedroom and an open-plan living area. Crafted details include a custom California Burr veneer shelving unit, angular dining chairs, and a low-slung bed frame. The bathroom features gridded tiles with a crimson-red sink.

To honor Narai Hotel's legacy with sustainable development. Also, part of IHG's luxury portfolio. The Hatai site will include retail, dining, and community spaces over 6,000m².
