Sir Hotels opens in Devonshire Square, London

🏨 Sir Hotels, an Amsterdam-based boutique group, opened Sir Devonshire Square in London in September 2025. The hotel features 81 rooms, including 14 suites, in a 17th-century warehouse. Designed by Maison 191's Samuel Wright, it showcases Bauhaus-inspired interiors. Dining is open to guests and the public, with a rotating art exhibit featuring London artists. A private members' club and main restaurant are planned, and guests currently receive complimentary gym access through a local partner.

Arthur’s Market: A new food emporium for Chelsea

Inspired by Tokyo's after-hours dining, the menu features dishes like Chicken Tsukune and Sticky Soy Short Rib. Over 500 signed up for the waitlist at kuroyoko.com, benefitting from a 30% discount. Phase Two will introduce basement karaoke rooms later this year, enhancing the Tokyo-inspired experience.

The Hoxton, Dublin set to open this November

Ennismore’s AIME Studios restored the Victorian structure. The hotel offers 129 rooms and four F&B venues, including a lobby bar and Cantina Valentina. It introduces Groundworks, a basement nightlife venue. This follows The Hoxton's 2024 launches in Florence and Edinburgh.

Islyn Studio designs hotel as “sanctuary for solo travellers” in New York

🏨 New York, 2025: Islyn Studio designed Now Now, a hotel on Bowery, Downtown Manhattan, drawing inspiration from European sleeper trains and Japanese capsule hotels. Featuring 180 single-occupancy cabins, each measuring 32 square feet (3 square meters), the hotel maximizes space with custom furniture for storage and comfort. Guests enjoy self-check-in, communal bathrooms, and amenities like sound machines and noise-cancelling headphones. Now Now is longlisted for the Dezeen Awards 2025 in hotel and short-stay interior categories.

World’s highest hotel Ciel Dubai Marina to open in November

Highly anticipated contemporary French restaurant Mamani is now open in Dallas

🍴 Dallas, September 2, 2025: Feels Like Home hospitality group unveils Mamani, a contemporary French restaurant in Uptown. Led by brothers Brandon and Henry Cohanim and chef Christophe De Lellis, Mamani focuses on "bistronomie." Designed by Bryan O’Sullivan Studio, the 5,200 sq. ft. venue seats 109, including a 34-seat terrace. The menu blends French and Italian Riviera influences, featuring dishes like Maine Lobster and a 22-ounce rib eye. A wine list by Allie Naught and an Italian-inspired cocktail menu by Rubén Rolón complement the offerings. Mamani is followed by The Bread Club, opening in winter.

Morocco-inspired Ayah opens in New York City

Their menu fuses traditional and modern Moroccan flavors, featuring dishes like Chhiwates and Pastilla. The bar, led by Adrien Lefort, offers drinks like The Dellah. Designed with DMDesigns, Ayah incorporates Moroccan crafts. It features three dining rooms and a central bar, blending Moroccan culture with New York style.

Dominus submits plans for 240-bed hotel in Camden

🏨 Dominus plans to convert a telephone exchange at 123 Judd Street, Camden, into a 240-room hotel, designed by Stiff + Trevillion. The ground floor will open to a restaurant, café, and bar. Dominus aims to retain much of the original structure, creating over 100 permanent jobs and 99 construction roles. An on-site Camden Hospitality Academy, in collaboration with The Springboard Charity and Hilton, will offer training and work opportunities for locals.
